busyhawk
Well, here we go again. Thanks again to Colt www.colt.com and Colt Competition www.coltcompetitionrifle.com for stepping up and committing early to being the headliners! Leupold www.leupold.com has also committed to being a Platinum sponsor....All these companies are going over the top and are putting their names on the forefront of our sport. Please don't forget these great companies when you purchase that next firearm or glass!!!!!!! Yesterday the first wave of invitations went out to returning competitors and in 7 hours we have over 70 registered via Practiscore www.practiscore.com! If for some reason you have shot our match before and didn't get an invite via Email please contact us through our website: http://nwmultigun.com. We will open the new shooter invites on the 1st of January. We will post the practiscore link here on B.E. and our webpage. After you fill out the Practiscore form online you will get a return Email confirming what you submitted. If all is OK then there is nothing to do but send the funds to the listed address. When we get the funds you will get another Email with a link to self squad. We are going to try something new this year, the AM squad will shoot 4 stages in a row and the PM squad will shoot 3. This will leave the last day (Saturday) of shooting with all shooters shooting 2 stages and will save us about 3 hours of day light and get the awards presentation started earlier, hence finish the match earlier in the light of day:) We have some special COFs designed again for 2014...we were told (by the shooters) to keep the same mix and balance of all three guns as well as some medium/long range rifle on every stage. Our longest range will not be over ~350 yards. We will be mixing some slugs on a couple of stages this year and we also decided to change the rules some so if you shoot a KO plate with a slug it is not a DQ...common sense prevails. This is a shooters match...meaning the shooters are steering the course of the match. We take all suggestions to heart. If you wish to sponsor please contact Scott via the address on our website. Ask any of our past sponsors, we take care of all sponsors very well. We try to provide marketing for your generous contribution to the prize table. If there is anything you wish to include into the match please contact us and we will talk it out. We have a vendor tent and the ability for shooters/vendors to shoot early or we can make other arrangements somehow. That is all for now...will be making updates as we go. Merry Christmas to all! 2014 Colt and Colt Competition Northwest Multigun Challenge Busyhawk

Doug H.
Hello all, There seems to be some confusion on dates because Practiscore had the match listed incorrectly. The NWMGC will be on July 10, 11 and 12 which is Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Shooters will be on the range all 3 days and we hope to have awards and prize table done by 5:00PM this year, yes before dark, so that everyone can head home or to a brewery if they so desire. The match is pretty much full but we have left a few spots open for sponsored shooters. If you can't make the match for any reason please let us know so that we can open that spot to another shooter. If you have paid and received an email to squad please do so as soon as posible or you may not get the squad choice that you want. Doug
Doug H.
PM-AM-PM squads getting pretty full, if you want that schedule you will have to squad yourself quickly. If you need me to resend your squadding link let me know. Doug
APL-G35
What's the best way to navigate this range? Gun stroller cars? What's best.
DonovanM
What's the best way to navigate this range? Gun stroller cars? What's best. I would recommend a cart, most of the bays are in a row, but last year there was a bit of a trek to the last couple bays, so we lifted our cart into the back of the truck
Doug H.
I like to drive as close as possible and try to get someone else to haul my equipment to the stage. Doug
Chuck Anderson
I drove to all the stages. If there we're several in a row I parked in the middle. I would not try to use a cart here. But it depends if Scott and Doug are going to use the long range bays on the left as you come into the range. That really spreads it out.
Romans 13 4
My favorite 3 gun cart is a Polaris Quad. Plus the Millican trail system starts right at the gate for those "off" times.
Doug H.
Removed some people that registered but decided they couldn't make the match which leaves us with about 10 open slots. Registration is now open until those slots are filled. busyhawk
Travis Gibson hurt himself (old back injury) at the MGM Iron Man. So to follow Dr.'s orders he will regretfully have to cancel both the LR rifle class and the LR rifle match. He is going to try to shoot our match but he is pressing the Dr.'s orders. Speedy recovery Travis, our thoughts and prayers for you and Tracy. Busyhawk

Doug H.
Scott and I have decided to do something different from every other match we have ever attended. We are publishing a list of the items donated by sponsors. We are at about $80,000 now and have some additional stuff coming in. If you click on the link below and scroll to the bottom of our 2014 Sponsor page you will see a link to "Prize Table List" to find all the great stuff that will be on the table. Instead of waiting until the prize table is set up, you can take a look ahead of time to see what you might want to pick up. Have fun looking!
