BlueRidgeReef
I really like my CZ75b and Kadet, and am thinking of adding a new one in stainless. I'd like to try some of the Custom Shop upgrades, put some pretty grips on it, you know, a BBQ gun! But I can't fathom dropping 4 digits on a pistol with a smooth front strap! Nor do I want to put skateboard tape on a stainless gun. Everyone seems to offer it for 1911's, so unless the frame is particularly thin or something, it should be possible. And it doesn't have to be perfect 25 LIP checkering or anything, dimples would be fine. Has anyone even seen this done on a CZ75?
ltdmstr
You can texture it yourself with a file and hammer (dead blow). Very common practice for Hi-Powers.
BlueRidgeReef
I'd much rather pay a professional to do it!
Czhase
It would need to be machine checkered due to the sweep at the bottom of the front strap. If you google "machine checkering 1911 frame" some gunsmiths should come up that do it, you would have to make some calls to see if any of them can also do CZ's
BlueRidgeReef
That should be a start, thank you!

cjfung10
Yea I'd like to see as well. Just got a TS and my small fingers aren't cutting it...=\ Grip reduction and re-checkering would be awesome...
JayDee
I used clear skate tape on my stainless….. agreed, black skate tape on SS didn't do it justice.
huskerlrrp
I saw a CZ Tactical Sports from Aquilla Gun Works http://www.acgwllc.com/ with the front strap stippled. I think Ryan Flynn did it. I have no connection with him, but the feedback from friends who have used him is positive.
steel1212
Keep in mind if you do something to the gun that can't be undone you have to find somebody that likes that when you go to sell. I had my frame thinned and just added grip tape.
