CZ75b Stainless project, done! Pics...

Hey gang, so I wanted to share a project I just got done with! It came out better than I expected and anyone who sees this thing in person literally goes nuts over it! This is not being used as a competition pistol so, I did not need to follow any rules as to what could be modified. Just wanted a fun range toy! Special thanks to David at Cajun Gun works and Stuart at CZC for all the help they provided and information they gave me.

Backdrop to the pistol....

My first CZ was a CTS Custom, I love it in every way and couldnt ask for a more dynamic pistol. With that said, my mind got to racing and I decided to do a little ore digging! I originally called Stuart from CZC and we started talking about what CZ has to offer and what I wanted in this project. I followed up that call with one to David at CGW. Long story short, I had it narrowed down to a 75 Stainless and a Shadow T (I bought both... Shadow is not in yet)... Something about the stainless pistol caught my eye and I decided to make this my own!

a few weeks of looking around and I found a polished stainless 75! That lead to a few more calls and finally the decision to let David do the conversion, sights, trigger, etc...

This was a personal project and something I wanted to tackle as I love the 75 platform. I took a standard CZ75b polished stainless and sandblasted it in 180 grit Aluminum Oxide. I (taped off the polished flats on the slide) and then re-polished the flats to make them look the way I wanted! I left the trigger, silde release, safety, and mag release alone, and I must say, I love the look! I ordered a set of MacTech Nill Wood grips and added stainless hex head screws to finish off the look I wanted.

This pistol was then sent to David at Cajun Gun Works for the rear dove tail to be milled out so that I could put an Infinity SVI rear sight (1911 sight) as well as Dawson Fiber Optic front fight. David at CGW gave this his full treatment! I asked him to drilled the front of the slide and installed a stainless full length guide rod... sweet! It was converted it to single action only, there was a straight trigger added, he put in his adjustable sear, changed out all the springs, added a race hammer, extended firing pin, and tuned the ejector!

This pistol is perfect in every way! The gun is balanced, comfortable in the hand, and is able to be controlled! The trigger has zero take up and breaks at just north of 2 lbs. I literally couldn't ask better from a 75! Gorgeous, accurate, and perfect!

I would love to hear your feedback, thoughts, etc!!!
