EkuJustice
good stiff brush on a drill cleans it quick or a nice acetone bath
Jaxshooter
Brake cleaner also works.
Yelrdog
Same plastic wad gunk is in your shotgun barrel (maybe not as thick due to the choke tube constriction). Clean it the same way. Your favorite solvent and a brush. Avoid abrasion. I use Hoppes and a 12ga brass brush.
Yelrdog
Oh, and grease the threads after cleaning.
Sgtsvi
I drop mine in my ultrasonic cleaner for about 5 minutes and it comes out sparkling.
larry weeks
Leave the tube in the barrel, run a long rod with a bore brush wrapped with bronze/brass or stainless steel pot scrubber strands, attached to your cordless drill trhough the whole thing about 3 times and you're done. Warning, I work for Brownells and we sell the rod, 080-000-254, the brushes and stainess steel sponge 080-000-321. I haven't used solvents in my shotgun bore for several years. Quick, easy, no mess.
