rdinga
Just picked up another 25-2. Its been over 25 years since I last used a moon clip fed revolver. Who makes the best loading and unloading tools for moon clips?
Roadking05
I just got into revolver shooting recently and after some research (my friend is doing the same thing so i just blatantly pilfered his results . ) I bought the one my friend picked out. It works great and is one tool for loading and unloading the moon clips as opposed to carrying around two separate tools like what came with the revolver I bought. Makes loading them really fast and easy. http://www.revolversupply.com/documents/68.html Enjoy! Roadking
gng4life
This is what you need: http://mooncliptool.com/ When I first got my revolver and needed to run it in a match, the time was tight and I needed this tool ASAP. I called him up and told him my situation. He had the tool in the mail in 30 minutes and it is awesome! I can't recommend anyone else higher this product and their service. Even though that was a few years ago, I will never forget their service and the great product they sell. And no, I do not work for them or even know them. It was recommended by a friend and that's who I went with. Best choice I made with my revo gear.
jester121
This is what you need: http://mooncliptool.com/ I like the looks of that one, and for the price it seems like a great choice. I use the BMT Mooner and I think it may be a little faster for unloading empties and reloading between stages, but it's over $80. Works beautifully, everyone has to decide what's worth their time and money. http://www.bmtequipped.com/products.php
Carmoney
The BMT moonclip tools are the best by far, and I've tried them all.

Great tool, great service, and Clint is a good guy to deal with. Whenever I need anything he leaves it in his mailbox and I pick it up If you have more than one caliber revolver, you can buy different center pieces. No need for multiple tools. BlueOvalBandit
Another vote for BMT, it's a little spendy but WAAAAAAAAY better than anything else. Takes mere seconds to load and unload.
Bosshoss
BMT Worst thing about it is wondering why I waited so long to get one. Worth every penny.
cuzinvinny
I bought a BMT tool for my model 610, and must agree with what the other have said about it being a great tool, especially since it both loads and unloads. However, now that I need a moonclip tool for my 627 I find myself asking if investing $160 for 2 BMT tools makes sense compared to buying just one moonclip tool with the different arbors. If there is even a remote possibility that you will be loading moonclips for a second or third revolver, the moonclip tool may be a better option. Rob Tompkins
I have the BMT and the moodclip tool. If you shoot it more than 1 or twice a year I say the BMT all the way!
seanc
BMT. And buy enough moonclips so that you can just load them all for a typical shooting session. It took me way to long to figure out how important having enough that I could load everything for a session and just shoot is.
MattYvip
The BMT moonclip tools are the best by far, and I've tried them all. +1, I haven't tried them all but I've used the BMT for my 625 and it makes things very very easy.
Dragon11
Add me to the growing list of people who would recommend the BMT. I've only had one small problem. I have one for my 625 and about a year ago the demooning side of it stripped and it wouldn't kick the brass off of the moonclip. I called BMT and they told me to send it back so it could be replaced. I've yet to send it back to get a new one. My story is not the norm though, I have never heard of anyone else having this problem, and again, I highly recommend it. BlueOvalBandit
I've had the occasional issues with slightly bent moonclips not wanting to strip brass. Usually these moonclips are just slightly bent and are only noticeable when you lay them on a flat table. The actual part on the demooner that does the work has no damage. 1time
BMT. You'll forget about the $80 long before you stop giggling when loading and unloading clips. It made my 625 my favorite firearm to shoot. I never lose brass and its easier to load than magazines.
