Will the weapon light on the gun also be legal for limited division in steel challenge, since its now legal for USPSA limited division? Didn't know if it was technically OK for one, if would still be OK for the other.

Both of my Gen 4s did (a 34 & 35). They're sitting in bin in the basement somewhere. Holy crap...I hate it when I put myself in the dark on certain topics. I assumed, since every Glock I have purchased came with fixed sights, that they didn't come with adjustable. I'm not afraid to admit I feel stupid...I appreciate the info. At least now, after learning the rule, I can take my time and decide on staying with the fixed or buying adjustable sights for my 34, and still be legally allowed to shoot it for action pistol. Although, it would be cheaper and easier just staying with the fixed sights I already have.

I don't think that fiber optics are legal for PPC. For me the fiber optics are a good for quick alignment then I use the leading sharp black edge for accuracy. On close stuff I use the front fiber optic like a dot sight.I appreciate the info, this gives me something to chew on. Right now I use Trijicon, so using either style would be a step in the right direction. While on the sights topic...I shot an action pistol match today. One of the competitors at the match said I couldn't put adjustable sights on my gun. He said that if the gun didn't come with adjustable sights, I couldn't put them on. I thought that if the sights fit in the original dovetail, or grove, then I could use them. Not being allowed to use adjustable sights seems way off base. Especially since ninety percent, if not all, of production style guns don't come from the factory with adjustable sights.

Its interesting to me that the fiber optics would be the better sights. Not because I think its wrong, but because I would have thought that the all black sights would give me a simple, more defined sight picture. When I use fiber optic sights my eyes tend to drift between lining up the dots versus lining up the hard edges of the sights. For IPSC that helps me, but would have thought the opposite for action pistol. Do you guys know if people are using the fiber optics in PPC matches also?

What sights due you guys prefer to use for production class? I have been shooting USPSA since 1992, and last month, I shot an NRA action pistol match. I had a blast and plan on shooting NRA action pistol while also shooting USPSA. Having said that, I shoot a Glock 34 and am wanting to set one up for NRA action pistol. I am leaning towards an all black adjustable Dawson Precision set. I was just curious what sights you guys shoot in NRA action pistol? Are they all black or do guys use fiber optic? I at least wanted to check before I ordered some sights.

I'm getting some 124g Bayous sent out to me to try. I'm glad I asked, my twisted logic had me thinking I needed to order a heavier bullet. If I can stay with the same style of sights and adjust my load a little bit, I'll be happy with that.

I'm hoping someone can explain this to me. I currently shoot a Glock 34 with Trijicon sights in production division. My load is 147g Bayou bullets with 3.5 grains of PB powder. At 25 yards by bullets are grouping 6 inches high consistently, point of aim point of impact. When I go out to 50 yards, they hit about 8 inches high. If I shoot the same gun with factory ammo, Federal 115g, the bullets hit dead on point of aim point of impact, at 25 yards. Can the bullet weight change the point of impact from point of aim that much? I have also loaded with Super Target powder and had the same results.

I really don't need it extended. I was just asking if Glock makes a factory extended mag release, longer then the one already issued in the standard Gen 4.

I'll come out and ask....does Glock make an extended OEM mag release for the Gen 4? And yes I'll admit this is probably a stupid question. I thought that the only release that Glock made for the Gen 4's was what came as is in the gun.

I saw that Pickaway County Sportsmans Club in Ohio shoots steel matches on the third Saturday of each month, via the website. What I didn't see is what time the registration starts and what time the match starts, which I have no doubt I probably missed. Any help would be great, wanting to bring my daughter to the match with me.

I upgraded from the Lee aluminum press to the Lee cast iron press. I had been loading on a single sheet of plywood for my reloading bench, but I secured two additional layers of plywood to the top. With three layers of 3/4 inch plywood and the cast iron press things are running good. To resize and deprime still takes some effort, but not near as much as what I was having to do before. I think leverage makes a difference.

Are you getting to the point of having to little of powder in the case with a bullet that size? In other words, is there a point that the powder weight is so low that its beyond its threshold of safety? Don't get me wrong, I would love to try this. I'm hoping if there is info on this, I would like some load data for either super field or super target.

I noticed several stages aren't listed on my scores, and also several other shooters. Does anybody know the normal time frame for all the stages to be added to the scores?

I'm using IE11, and I found that if you toggle the light switch icon (which disables all the nifty font, emoticon, and other buttons), the quote function works again. You can't be as expressive in your posts, but at least people can tell what you're responding to. Oh, and keyboard emoticons like "colon,parenthesis" do still work. As you can see that's working for me with general internet explorer also. I might try switching to chrome to see if that works any better.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and ask a question that is probably very obvious....that I'm overlooking. When trying to post a comment on some of the topics, I'm hitting the "quote" option so I can respond specifically to another persons comment. But when I hit the quote option the persons comment doesn't display in my post section. Am I overlooking something?

GlockCanMan, I haven't measured my dies only because I had the same problem from both my 45 and 9mm. Especially after today, after taking the 9mm die off of the Lee and using it on my 550 with no problems, I leaned more towards the press being the issue. I have talked to Lee numerous times when I started having problems with the "C" shaped reloaders breaking, which is why I upgraded to the aluminum D frame press. I just called them again today and I'm going to upgrade to the cast iron press, and hope this eliminates the problem. The bench the reloader is mounted on is 5/8 plywood, it does flex a little when working the press. Does anyone think the slight flexing of the bench might cause some of the problems?

For what its worth I moved my undersized sizing die from my single stage loader to my 550 today. With the die in the 550 it worked like a charm sizing the brass. Obviously its a leverage problem with the Lee press or my bench. Calling today to get the cracked handle replaced.

Have you tried putting the pin in the frame with the locking block out, to see if there's a difference in looseness or tightness between the two? Also put the pin through just the locking block to check the same thing. Not so sure this would be the problem but it might help eliminate things.

I don't doubt you, but what would it be? I have the stroke of the arm for sizing the brass towards the end of the stroke of the handle, but still allow the brass to bottom out into the die. The handle arm is set at the end in the pivot/brace point. The bench I have the die mounted on has a little bit of flex. Believe me, I am open to suggestions.
