EngineerEli
Nice! I got my 5.4" barrel in two weeks ago. I asked for a 5" lock up as well so I could use it in a 5" slide. Oh, cool. Did you get it installed yet? Just a bull or a sight tracker barrel?
JaeOne3345
Nice! I got my 5.4" barrel in two weeks ago. I asked for a 5" lock up as well so I could use it in a 5" slide. Oh, cool. Did you get it installed yet? Just a bull or a sight tracker barrel? I ordered a 5.4" sight tracker barrel. I just ordered the remaining parts from Shooters Connection, except a few ignition components that are shipping from Brandon in a couple weeks. I am waiting on him to get some disconnectors back in stock before he ships the hammer, sear spring, bow, etc. Edited August 1, 2013 by JaeOne3345

EngineerEli
Well I got the gun last night and it is amazing! Now that I am no longer trying to make the decision, I created a new thread just to basically show the results. Lots of photos posted there too! Thanks everyone for you help and input! DyNo!
So I took a different take on this one: http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k274/DyNo541/IMG_16271_zps717e316e.jpg~original Edited October 17, 2013 by DyNo!
bmiller
How does it shoot? Do you like it better than a sight tracker? Very cool!
DyNo!
Funny enough - it shoots like an open gun*! (*It shoots like an Open gun shooting minor ammo) I dig it and look forward to shooting it. It has more "heft" but doesn't flip much at all. Kicks just the same.
bmiller
Is your "barrel extension " made of stainless ? Does it have a longer sight radius than a 6"?
a matt
So I took a different take on this one:http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k274/DyNo541/IMG_16271_zps717e316e.jpg~original Grips look nice. So do the guns.
wgj3
Cam, we have to see more of that crazy-long pistol. Looks a sight radius in the 9"+ range easily. Are you shooting Blue Ridge or gonna be in Bham for Tapp's carbine match? I need to see this one in person. Who built it, Brax?
EngineerEli
So I took a different take on this one: http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k274/DyNo541/IMG_16271_zps717e316e.jpg~original Very cool! It reminds me a lot of the STI True Sight, only instead of being on a shortened slide, barrel, and frame making an over all 5" gun length, you start with a 5" gun and add two or three inches to it. Is it pretty nose heavy? How is it on transitions? I see you have a lot of weight out of the front of the slide which I'm sure helps a lot. True Sight: And I didn't think to post a pic of my finished gun on this thread so here you go:
