Vanniek71
That comp doe not have the big ports going up. Its designed around barrel ports. Gotcha, was just curious. I don't know anything about guns with comps on them anyways, was just wondering.
dskinsler83
Once more. If you go CNC then DRO is a waste of money? I see the DRO store on ebay has 3 axis for 520 shipped

StraightUp_OG
The DRO becomes redundant once you go CNC. But it is only a waste of money if you don't sell the DRO once you convert your mill. Think of it as renting the DRO.

StraightUp_OG
Started in on the Glock and noticed an issue with the mill. The head was tipping and lose so I am in the process of breaking down the mill to correct the issue and then back to it. Glad I recognized the issues before I tore into the slide. StraightUp_OG
I would leave the reloader where it is and put the mill where you said.

Zoomy
Don't go the cheap route on drill bits or taps.[/quoteAgree. OSG, ITW, Morse. Quality is well worth the cost.
StraightUp_OG
Thanks Don it sure is fun! So I had a pucker factor 11, I broke a tap!!! But I was resolute that I would prevail and I did. I took my time and milled out the broken tap and got lucky that there was still enough meat to re-tap the hole. WHEW!!!! On to the next project! blind bat
Holy yit, you drilled out a tap? What type of drill bit did you use? I'm guessing it was made out of the same material as Thor's hammer.
