Lead-Head
I have seen a few homemade scope throw levers. Some on some pretty well known shooters. Anyone come up with a workable variant of a home grown throw lever/ cattail? Any pics out there?
Mickster
Before anybody was making a fancy aluminum clamp on throw lever for my scope I made one. 1/4" wide strip of bicycle inner tube around the ring. 1/4" zip tie around the inner tube and clip off most of the excess. (personal taste). Never worked loose, never came off, never slipped, always worked as advertised. Black zip tie works the best but other colors are available. MarkCO
That is just a Breakaway Coaster tie. Have them on a few rifles, they work well. Got 4 for $20 off ebay. http://jerkingthetrigger.com/blog/2012/10/27/tactical-handyman-cat-tailthrow-lever-2-for-20/ Edited January 6, 2013 by MarkCO
