sperman
I noticed recently that my hammer is hitting the bevertail when the slide re-coils. I don't think it did this before I had the pistol hard chromed, but it's possible it was doing it and I didn't notice it. Can the CZ experts offer some advice? Is my mainspring getting weak? Is this anything I should be concerned with?
burningsquirrels
that's what pretty much all of mine and everyone else's is doing around here... p.s. i got the 45 die last night.... thanks!
W_Buck
Mine does the same. Got nice wear line on the hammer in the same spot. The hard chrome does make stand out a little more, but nothing to worry about.
sperman
Thanks guys. I guess I never noticed it before I had it plated. Gerard, I hope you can do something with the die. It's been sitting on my bench for several years. I'm not sure how I even ended up with it.

sperman
Here are some pics of the gun with a Tripp rear sight. I've since switched to an SVI. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=131641&view=findpost&p=1504795

I can only take credit for the rear sight and hard chrome. Everything else is the way it came from CZ Custom.

justaute
Scott...how do you like the SVI so far? Here are some pics of the gun with a Tripp rear sight. sperman
The good news? The SVI uses a screw instead of a pin. The bad news? The screw was backing out after only 1 match.
