dskinsler83
Ok guys I've searched and search....I have found some load info for short OAL 40 major just looking to see if these hbe been used in some Tanfos...mainly limited or stock 2. I'll be using 180-185gr lead and moly.
Blazer-6
here's mine. It's clean and accurate, and it's tamer than it sounds, considering it's a rather slow powder. It's also not hard on shells. 180 gr moly, 5.1 gr VV N340, 1.135 OAL, minor crimp. I run these on a H&K USP 40 tac. personally, i find it even more pleasant than 180 gr loaded long with N320. Mark R
Try 4.2 gr Solo 1000, 185 gr Precision Moly bullet, 1.130" OAL, 12 lb recoil spring yields 170 pf, 5 stddev...that was at 35 degrees F shot out of a G35.
RH45
When I loaded short, for Glock/M&P, I ran 4.2 grains of Titegroup, behind a Zero, 180 jhp. It came out about 170pf, depending on what gun it was shot out of.
MarkCO
185 Precision over 5.0 grains WSF at 1.130" got me 930 fps which is 168 PF. At 5.3 grains I was 990 fps. This was in a G35 with a Bar-Sto barrel.
Poppa Bear
I use 4.0 gr of Clays behind a 185 Moly at 1.145" for a 171 PF out of the stock barrel.
dsmw5142
4.6gr Solo 1K 1.135 180gr BBI 172-174PF 5.0gr of Unique will work as well and is quite accurate, safe and manageable, but definitely not as soft.

This was in a G35 with a Bar-Sto barrel. I used WSF at one time and I personally found the recoil to violent for a competition load. Alot of muzzle flip in my G35. I'm looking for a load for a Stock II
DoubleA
I've been shooting my g35 for about 4 years now and just about anything is a lot of muzzle flip when loaded major. My main load is 4.5 grn of WST over any 180 grn moly or lead and 4.7 grn for jacketed, all at 1.130 OAL. I also use 4.2 grn of Titegroup with moly's at same OAL. It is a bit snappier, but returns quickly.

This was in a G35 with a Bar-Sto barrel. Maybe I'm figuring this wrong but a 185 @ 930 fps would be a power factor of 174, would it not? I ammaking major by shooting a 185 grain Precision Moly over 4.6 grains of WSF from a Glock 24 (6" LWD barrel).
dskinsler83
Yeah my G24 Limited setup with solid top and tungsten guide rod tamed the WSF load down quite a bit. My buddy has a great shooting W231 major load with a 185g Precision Moly but I hate how dirty it is.

deerassassin22
1.120 with 4.6gr Titgroup, 180MG CMJ, 942 FPS 169PF shoots great for my Glock 22 and my Eagle.
