Sarge
What do you all carry your open guns in, hard cases or padded soft cases? I carry my trusty Glock in a soft case inside my range bag. I'm thinking a little more care is in order for carrying an Open gun? I like the idea of a hard case but I also like the idea of it fitting in my range bag. What works for you? Edited to add: If you use a hard case, what one do you use? Brand, model #, etc. Thanks Kevin Edited May 15, 2011 by Kevin Sanders
caspian guy
Hmm... just for going to the range for a local match it goes in a rug in my bag. For flying a pelican case in my suitcase.
flack jacket
I better protect my investment.... spent a pretty penny I use this from CTD: Hard Case For my main transport to and from, then on the range, smaller hard case or in the holster.. A bit larger than I need, but does allow fit for all of the expensive magazines also.... Edited May 15, 2011 by flack jacket

HI5-O
I use a Pelican hard case to hold two open guns due to the slide racker on each gun. In a soft case, the slide rackers get pushed around and I also want to protect the scopes from getting tweaked.
Jan R.
This case holds my two open guns and locks with two pad locks...its a bullet proof case system. I have a second one for ammo. http://www.ameripack.com/cases/SKB-cases/Military-case/prod-5156 Jan
