raysracer Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 Trying to do this on a budget. cleats are not allowed for IDPA. what are you guys wearing? I've been wearing my Merrills. They have a aggressive tread and are light and breathe well. our bays are crushed up asphalt so cleats realy dont help but cross trainers are great on all kinds of terrain. and idpa legal lol. Dan Burwell Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 after looking all over the place for the most agressive tread pattern I could find I bought these:North Face Hedgehog GTX® XCR They worked great all last season and are look like they will make it through this one as well. I was wearing them for both IDPA and USPSA but found a for ranges with some loose gravel the Under Armor molded football cleats work better. Chips are easier to pickup with long nails and Don likes a good back scratch. can I get addidas terrex swift's @ sears?
