Once phase 2 construction is complete we will have 11 shooting bays.

Address 11307 Brownstown Road Underwood IN. 47177 Opening day Dec. 10th @ noon.

Bays 1-3 10 yards wide 35 yards deep. Bays 4-7 2 bays are 15 yards wide by 45 yards deep. 2 bays are 20 yards wide by 45 yards deep. We as officers & BOD’s have approved phase 2 construction. We plan to add 4 more shooting bays. Size will be 10-15 yards wide by 25-30 yards deep. We’ve hosted major matches in the past. No plans in the future to host a major match. Our primary goal is to provide a fantastic range for membership and host local match’s. We are excited.

Silver Creek Conservation Club is building a new range in southern Indiana. 2 years ago we were told our lease would not be renewed. A year ago SCCC purchased a 91 acre property @ auction. Plans drawn. Survey performed. Timber harvest complete. Excavation contractor selected after month’s of proposals. We found the right excavation company. I have great video’s but they are to large to post.

I gave up watching any televised sports if not broadcast on air waves TV. I cancelled DirecTV March 2020. Life is better outside away from TV.

My Dad & Mom are 89 & 88. I live out of state but visit often. I cherish time spent with them. Sadly, my wife unexpectedly passed away 2 years 3 months ago. She was 62. I miss her every day. I know the importance of quality time spent with family.

Do you have contacts for lead removal? We have an active trap range which has never been cleaned as far as I know.

SCCC acquired a commercial appraisal. Range cleanup, wetlands, operations as a quarry for decades before opening as a conservation club are factors addressed in the appraisal. The appraised value was 1/10th of the asking price. SCCC offered the appraised value. Our offer was rejected. We discussed with the owners the cleanup process. The conversation fell on deaf ears. Potential buyers will no doubt have a cleanup contingency in a purchase agreement.

REPLACING OUR RANGE WILL BE A DECADE LONG PROJECT. WE LEASED OUR PROPERTY FROM A GLOBAL CEMENT COMPANY. THEY HAVE INFORMED US OUR LEASE WILL NOT BE RENEWED. PROPERTY IS FOR SALE FOR $2,500,000.00. SCCC HAS HELD MANY LEVEL 2 AND LEVEL 3 USPSA MATCH'S AND LEVEL 2 IDPA MATCH'S SINCE 2004. WE ARE ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR A NEW PROPERTY TO RELOCATE. What a great experience.

Following hip replacement surgery. Blood clot lodged in the left side of her brain. She was active and athletic. Rode horses. Walked our dog. Married 39 years 11 month's. My life has been turned upside down. Still attempting to find my new normal. I will never be the person I was with her by my side. I'm blessed to have had her in my life. I expected many, many more years of her being by my side. The pain, grief and heart break is 100 times worse than I could imagine. I've managed to pull myself together although every day is difficult.

Your right. Rescues from the pound do not receive any affection or attention. Takes alot of time, effort and patience for what is hopefully a positive break thru.

After 2.5 yrs of stubborn and at times very frustrating behavior, taking 1 baby step @ a time, Tiki has transformed into a sweetheart.
