How many rounds annually on a 550b?

I have been reloading on a 550B for about 18 months. I have done about 10k in that time between 9mm and 38spec. I was wondering what kind of numbers others are doing.

Probably about 10-12k a year for me....

Before I had a kid I would say I was in the 20k range per year. But I also had some subguns to feed. I am probably on pace for 5k this year judging by primer usage.

been reloading on a 550b since 89??? at the height of my shooting, in 93 it was somthing like 30,000 rds thru 1 gun, notto mention all the other calibers i load for on the 550, now its somwhere in the 3 to 5k range(sorry arthritus has set in)

I bought mine last August and have loaded around 15k in this last year. The year before that I was around 10k with a Rock Chucker. Even now I would still like a 650 w/casefeed.

50k+ .40

35K .45

15k 9mm

2k of .30-06, .280AI, .308, 45-70, .243

I have had to replace the bottom end and some parts on the powder measure and primer bar that wore out and thats it.

Even now I would still like a 650 w/casefeed.

This is why I asked. I am very happy with my 550b, but a guy at the range is thinking of going to a 1050 from his 650. I told him I was interested in his 650 and casefeeder if he moves up.

I started my commercial reloading career on a 550. Between commercial ammo and my own ammo, it's got over 500K loaded in just that time (had it about 5 years now). I got it used as an upgraded 450 to 550 press and the guy I bought it from used it to load for local cops commercially. He had over a million rounds loaded on it. This press has been rebuilt a few times, but has been going strong since the 80's when he originally got it. Right now I use it as a dedicated .45 ACP press until I can afford to buy another 1050 for just .45.

Don't have a 550B... loaded 12K on my SDB in 9mm the last year, with a about a 3-4 month layoff for some personal matters... upgraded to a XL650 casefed for 9mm just recently as the current 2K a month requirements were keeping me too tied to the bench.

I use a Dillon 550 and load 9mm, 38 Special, 40 S&W, 44 Special and 45 ACP - ca 15,000 rouinds per year total.

I would say 2,500 black powder .44 specials and 500 or so black powder 45-70. Mix in a few 357 mags and 44mag maybe 3,500 a year or so totalon the 550. Most of the normal Modern cal's get loaded on one of the 650's.
