G-ManBart
Assuming it hasn't been refinished, and the grips are original, it's going to be worth a pretty penny, but how much would require better pics and somebody who's an active collector to give you a better idea. Jadeslade
Prefix or suffix? Enough of these pretenders-anywhere from 2-4 K, depending on the stuff you have with it and condition.
calishootr
Im with Jade, its probably worth a pretty penny at this point, if you wantto maybe increase its value for those who like the rampant stallion, is to contact Colt or their archival division??? yrs ago you could get papers verified by Colt as to the date/time who made the thing, then the pony would have a pedigree to add to its value, somthing to think about Edited September 5, 2010 by calishootr

Jaxshooter
Zander"s Sporting Goods have these Colt's (1950)in thier catalog from NIB to very good condition with matching number box. NIB $2200.00 Excellent $1900.00 Very Good $1500.00 Excellent with non matching box $1750.00 That should give you a ballpark idea of the value. The matching number boxes make a big difference to collectors. They also have some 2 and 3 gun consecutive serial numbered sets in matching numbered boxes.
