  3. Eric, Thanks for the compliment I use rice exclusively. With some polish. Works great ! And, so cheap .... I buy the smallest, cheapest I can find. Never bought media.
  4. Me too !!!! Brian, is this one of the titanium comps ? I love the way it's blended to the slide's stirrup cut (had I seen it a month ago...)
  5. Woaw Girl, what a gun !! Impressive comp, and great serrations !
  6. Thanks everybody ! Yep, the only excuse left is "uh, I can't shoot"... Nolan, good idea for retreiving brass !! Here we have : STI grip and trigger, Springfield Armory slide, Nowlin barrel and extractor, EGW cone, comp, oversize slidestop, aluminium magwell, ti hammer strud, OKO dot, STI mount, STI guide rod and reverse plug, Ed Brown safeties, Arched steel mainspring housing, Sidewinder racker (from EGW): THE racker ! (needed a lot of finishing. Came just like out of the mould...) Oversize mag release button (D-Lask ?) Nickel-Cobalt finish

  8. Chriss, I know the words are a little thing in this horrible and painfull situation, but be sure that all my thoughts are with you and your family tonight.
  9. Let's share our reloading benches... Yes, mine is in the kitchen (or what used to be the kitchen... )
  10. Happy Birthday, Brian. And thank you again for the forum !
  11. Skywalker67, You were talking to Julien, not me... Julien uses slim base pads from Para, because he is using a longer tube (126mm instead of normal 120mm). He the re-cuts the tube (at an angle), so that with the Para slim base, it fits flush in the box. And, the funny part is that he uses electrical tape to keep the tube and the pad together...
  12. Not only this one looks good, but shoots well, as well. I wish it jammed some times ....
  13. Thanks girls ! Julien, do you think we can blow (pun intended) up those ones ? Jeffro: do you feel better now (check our faces...) ?
  14. see if this works: Julien (with the glasses) and myself
  15. I've been using the big ProMAg from ProEars for 3 years, wich I believe is rated NRR 26 or 27. This is not the new "dimension" model. Can't be more satisfied. It protects well and you don't get that bad sensation of noise cut that the competitors offer: it doesn't cut the loud noises, but compresses them. It 's tough to explain but the sensations are way better. I'd buy another one for sure.
  16. I had the pleasure to meet Vince last week at his home place. He is a hellova Guy ! Had great time talking IPSC, shooters, rules, girls ... drinking beers and eating baconcheese burger. Vince knows everybody in Hong Kong ! You just look at a cute girl in the street (veeerrry cute), and Vince draws his cellphone and call her... That's the man ! 3QT, the "tour guide" on your picture says hello. no, just kidding; we went to that bar, but she was not there that night.
  17. Vince, I'm in ! You've just found your French Section Coordinator I'm sending you an Email: I'll be in HK first week of March and must/need/want to check your bar...
