  1. uhm.. do you guys have a lower PF limit than us IPSC shooters???
  2. I was warned that VV N320 was in the extreme pressure region in 9mm, even on minor loads. Have you had any pressure issues with N310? How does the primer edges look? And finally, do you think it'll hold the minor floor in a G17?
  3. I've got one because we have a lot of on table starts on this side of the ocean. No testing yet as my gun is in the mail from Shooters/Exporter, but its very strong and looks well made. Easily shaves several tenths off a start for me. I fumble a lot when trying to put mags fast INTO pouches.
  4. I'll add another this thread is useless without photos reply
  5. I hope no longer than 4 weeks, due to Norwegian nationals 31st may, but it has to pass two of the largest bureaucracies on earth to get here. US and Norwegian customs!
  6. what spring do you have now in it?
  7. ...nice trigger, too. Doesn't shoot to bad either now that was just outright nasty
  8. Just got my bench set up in the new house. I know the house is too small since the only available space to set up was in the attick. I guess that makes me a semi-confined space reloader as well The bench frame is made out of 2x4's bolted to the roof construction. There are 6 2x4's across with a 12mm wallplate on top, covered with Jatoba parquett. Leftovers from the livingroom, heavy and hard as fook, and they look the part so on they went. Bench dimensions are 80x220 cm's or approx 32x88 inches. If it needs further strengthening I will add some 2x4's from the front end and back towards the wall, but it made no sound when I sat on it and jumped up and down. Not even a little tiny squeak. Shelves will be added to the back wall to put stuff on, and there will be added lightning to the roof uprights or whatever they are called. Luckily, there is about an inch clearance from the top of my head when I stand at the highest point so I can stand, although the bench is made as a sit down bench due to the Dillon requiring some height above the bench to be filled with powder and primers. Best part is there is enough room to exchange it for a 650 in the future, although it will be tight to refill the case feeder. Any comments for improvements, just hit me.
  9. thanks Surge and Fomeister. I can't wait to get the baby home and try it! It pisses me off a tad that the exporter hadn't sent the FFL info when I told him to, because then it could have been on the way and not sitting in the shop. The only good thing it does there is let you guys see it, and rub it in my face that you've seen it and I dont
  10. We got the same problem in Norway as you do in Italy and Netherland as said above. We got 1 smith in Norway, and he's about 8-900 miles away from me. My new gun was just finished by Dan Bedell, and I will hopefully have it by the end of may. I know if there is a problem with it, there is no way in hell I can send it back for a fix. But an Sti would also need to be sent to the same 1 smith as I will have to send my Bedell to if it encounters any problems. With export fees and shipping the full house custom gun ends up around the same price as a stock Trubor from the Norwegian dealer. You should really check out the cost of getting one exported. I know ETSS should be able to export one to you if you can provide them a copy of an import permit. Shipping and export license fee is around $700, and with the current EURO/USD exchange rate, its not bad at all.
  11. you can also check with http://www.simpsonltd.com
  12. I don't really know all bits and parts. This is cut'n'paste from ShootersConnections webpage as a general on the guns. "KKM Match Button Rifled barrel Click Cmore, Slide Racker Lightened Slide, Stippled Grip STI Recoilmaster, Koenig Hammer Steel or Titanium Bedell Comp STI Slide, Magwell & Grip Safety EGW Sear,SC Slide Stop Aftec Extractor 38 super,comp,9mm SC Ejector, Extreme Disconnector All the Best parts at a great price! Custom Built by Dan Bedell Grip & Safety Area shaped for comfort Function fired 200 rounds Price is base price." The "changes" I've made is the Swenson safety, ICE magwell, allchin cut up mount and a CR *thumb rest [generic]*. Thats simply looks and a tad personal adjustment. The rest I don't mess with, because Dan knows a heck lot more about what parts should be used than I'll probably ever learn. ETSS can export one to you so you can get a Bedell yourself
  13. Here it is! A perfect blend of black and chrome Thanks to Dan for photo. I'll do more angles and higher res with the EOS when I get it home
  14. gun is according to Chuck ready to ship from Dan tomorrow! I'm totally over exited now! If I get some photos from Dan before it ships, they will be right up here!
  15. I've shot mine in the rain with no problems except for drops on the lenst causing the one nice dot to become 50 nice dots all over the place. Needless to say I didn't do very well...
  16. It was shoot down at the General assembly before EHC I think. They already have enough troble filling the divisions, and didn't belive it would attract new shooters, just let folks who already shoot IPSC use their "obsolete" guns, thus just jumping from one division to another thinning it out even more. But with 900 competitors for the EHC I don't see the problem having another division.
  17. I'm toying the idea of getting a singlestack in .45 or .38 super, the latter because my dillon will be spitting it when I get my new Bedell soon. The gun will be used at L1's for IPSC Standard, and for fun shooting. Maybe some steel challange since its being introduced to our National Practical Shooting Association "sub divisions", sorry for my lack of words to express it properly, but over here we need to justify every gun purchase with a division held by the shooting organization we're member in, and I just noticed new steel rules coming up, so I could put that on an application. Will I feel and see any difference in quality between say a $1000 gun like Dan Wesson or Sti versus the higher priced SV's and Wilson Combat? I really like the Wilson classic two tone, but is it worth the more than doubling of price? Jostein.
  18. if they can just get the slicks back, I can live with smaller wings, as they have concidered. Slicks to keep the corner speed and less wings to get the cars closer for a LOT more overtakes.
  19. I think the size of your hands only determins how far back the rest needs to go, not very much what type. I like the rest because it gives me a more consistent grip, with my LH thumb on the same spot every time. I've been told I shouldn't use it to hold the recoil or anything like that, because it would do more bad than good to dot tracking and consistency than it does recoil elimination. Recoil will be there nomatter what we do with the gun, its just a matter of learning to live with it and make it the same for every shot. Now I'll be the first to say I'm not quite there yet, because I tense up when I f*#k up, and that really shows on my follow up shots...
  20. I'm not chuck, but the ones in the Ultra bag look VERY similar to the CED ones.
  21. I used Lite in my Edge down to -10 celsius. It didn't foul. Was MUCH nicer than a well oiled SPS.
  22. sweet! mine will be just like it, but with a chrome well, a normal c-more and swensons! real beauty! Wish I was more creative and thought colors, but that can be done later.
