  1. Any update on how these wolf bullets loaded and or shot.
  2. I have been loading 9mm xtremes and I am planning on trying out some coated bullets. I am using a factory Glock barrel and am curious what diameter is working best for everyone. I am also curious what is working best, Acme, Eggleston, or ?????
  3. If you pull the bolt back slightly out of battery it will allow the lifter to more up slightly. Then depress the shell catch. They will come out then without issue.
  4. If you bought a Glock for looks you are going to be disappointed. The finish is going to wear no matter the brand or type of holster. From the looks of it you may have gotten some debris inside the holster. It looks normal to me for a gun that gets used.
  5. If you are shooting at 100 yards I would back the power down. Remember your scope magnifies everything. Unless you are not touching the gun there will be some movement. This is why snipers call their shots and note where they believe the crosshairs were at the time the shoot broke. You will also have to follow all the the fundamentals if you want the desired results. Matt
  6. Cruiser ready is a police term for the condition a shotgun is keep in a patrol car during shift.
  7. This frame looks really bad but I believe the wide angle of the go pro makes it look a bit different than it actually is. This was also not the 3gun match. This was another match being run at the same time by different people. Matt
  8. Registration is closed I believe. There are a lot of hoops we jump through to get on to the Academi property.
  9. Which day are you shooting? Normally we do self squading, but this match is run a little different because it is run in conjunction with a pistol match.
  10. We are a rain, shine, snow wind, bears, hot, cold match. We will be there and a match will happen Matt
  11. As the stage designer I can tell you for sure there will not be any 400 yard shots. The max you are going to see is around 250. We did not get the longer range for this match.
  12. It happened to a couple of my scopes. It is from comps blowing stuff back. I would be willing to bet your have shot some rollover prone in the dirt or gravel recently. Matt
  13. It will be up shortly. I have been dragging my feet. The round count will be approx 150 pistol, 150 rifle, 100 shot, 10 slugs.
  14. Call me crazy, but why not send back the faulty parts instead of bending a $200 trigger bar. It does not make sense to buy another part from them when you have one that won't work. They would have very likely exchanged your trigger if you asked. I have dealt with them on several occasions and they were always trying to make me happy. Matt
  15. I switched to my 16" rifle for the season and when and sighted it in with all the loads I'm going to use. I have chrono'ed my 18" rifle with all the load but I don't have a velocity for 69 or 75 prvi match ammo. I know your won't be exact but it would have to be closer than me pulling a number out of the air. I would normally get it chrono'ed but I don't have time before TarHeel. Matt
  16. I have shot a couple thousand through my M2 without any issues. Most of the guys I shot with use Rios, and issues that I recall. I shot Rois for two seasons with out any issues through my SLP Matt
  17. I have always used the idea of making the penalty higher than it takes the average shooter to hit the target. That way everyone has to give it an honest effort. I use a 60 second penalty on a MGM spinner, 10 second on all steel unless it is designated a HVT, and 5 seconds on clays. Andy Horner uses a 10 second penalty on less than 100 and 15 seconds on over 100. The goal in setting up your stage should be to have your targets set in a manner that the penalty for a miss is higher than the average shooter takes to hit it. Matt
  18. I believe the gen 3 is $480 and the gen 4 is $507. At least that sounds similar to when I bought my 35
  19. I definitely appreciate the price of this match. For the caliber of the match the match fee is great. I guess it just looked weird. I'm looking forward to the match. I have some unfinished business with a set of LaRue targets.
  20. Charles will pay the tax because I want to shoot the match, but I believe your accountant is wrong. I did a little bit of research and it appears NC and VA are similar. They do not tax services, only goods or products. The term used for taxable items is tangible property, and a match fee would not qualify.
  21. I did my M2 this past week. I used a couple of files, a Dremel with sanding, buffing and polishing wheels. Finished it off with Flitz polish. The serial number on an M2 limits them size and depth of the bevel.
  22. MGM says not to shoot their steel at less than 150 yards. I have several MGM targets that I own at less than that. It is harder on them, but I look at targets as wearable items. I don't shoot my expensive targets with rifle up close but I shoot auto poppers regularly at 50 yards. They have survived four years of monthly matches. Matt
  23. We used iPad for setup and have iPods for each squad. We have 6 iPods. They were all bought refurb end from Apple. Matt
