  1. Run divisions by Power Factor, then break out by weight or special category and then by Iron/optic. Plastic guns are light, metal guns are heavy. Open gets comps and 170 mags SS could even get a 140 mag 1) Major- Light irons, light Optics, heavy irons, heavy optics, SS irons, SS optics, L10 irons, L10 Optics, Revo irons, Revo optics, and finally Open. All 140mm mags except open. All major scoring 2) Minor - light irons, light Optics, heavy irons, heavy Optics, SS irons, SS optics, L10 irons, L10 optics, Revo irons, Revo optics, and finally Open All 140mm mags, except open. All minor scoring *Award Major irons, Major optics, minor irons, minor optics as special wins. Before the boomers(and I'm one) poo poo on the # of divisions...we have computers now...It's Easy to set up on Practiscore. Drop down menu choices 1. Choose PF, major or minor 2. Choose light(plastic), heavy (metal), SS, L10, Revo, Open 3. Choose irons or optics. Obviously this needs some specificity (weight limit delineation etc), but it covers everything I can think of. Divisions that currently don't run 140 mags...run what you have until you can pick up some. Yes it waters down the divisions, but it allows full diversity and prevents migration to the perceived golden ticket. Using The current divisions as comparison, An open gun will win a fantasy division Major optic, a limited gun will win a fantasy division Major irons, A CO or LO gun will win a fantasy division minor optics. A production gun (plastic or metal) will win a fantasy division minor irons. I have donned my fire suit...flame away...
  2. As crazy busy as the shop is, they will always take the time for customer service. You made a great choice.
  3. Awesome review. I will be doing an extensive ammo test with video in a couple weeks. the thing I think is most peculiar is at the last two matches that I've shot with my LOC the first round fired on the first stage has actually distracted me due to the fact that it's so soft ...lol Where did u get that stand,?
  4. Shot my new DS9LO in a match Tuesday night. I friggin loved it. If LO becomes a division I may abandon Open...lol
  5. Mine will be here probably next week. I'll be glad to provide input here, but y'all will probably just think I'm biased...lol... my DS9Open has run flawlessly and I seem to shoot it better than any of my previous Open guns if accuracy is an indicator. My match % of possible points is higher with this gun than it's ever been.
  6. That makes sense. Even though this will be a dedicated rig, I still like the fact that it's so universal
  7. Anyone used both and have a preference?
  8. 172 out of a CK shorty. Haven't chronoed out of my MPA yet.
  9. I run black dot exclusively. never had a single issue
  10. thanks all. hopefully Premear will be at Florida State Match. I need new ones

  12. anyone try them? My Premear molded plugs are getting brittle.
  13. 6 months in and no hiccups. Changed the red to black and Comp was refit.
  14. I run Black Dot Ammo 9 major rounds. It's a 124gr JHP and I think 7.0 Autocomp. It's both...comp matched to Load and proper grip.

  16. Unfortunately family issues forced me to withdraw from Nationals, but I've got 1 local match under my belt with the DS9Open. The gun ran flawlessly. Denny Chapman, the horseback champion and former contestant on Top Shot put some rounds downrange with it after the match so I could watch it recoil. He's not an Open shooter and said the dot tracked with minimum movement and I watched the slide jump just ever so slightly. I'm learning the euro grip so I hunted for the dot on a couple draws but garage dryfire will fix that. I really like the grip texture. The trigger is phenomenal, under 2 pounds (1lb 10oz) and clean and crisp. I'm more than pleased.
