  1. Deon - musta been that PB&J uncrustable sammitch I hooked you up with that inspired you congrats
  2. Did you shoot Production??? if so, I was right on your heels ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd all shot 53%)....I hit a no shoot on a clam shell on Evil Twister...only a couple mikes all day long....if only I hadn't hit the noshoot, maybe 1st "C" instead of 3rd...did we win a plaque or anything?
  3. Don't know if I've ever seen any (other than autopoppers) that do this. Was it a plate rack? I agree, this should be scored as hit, you shouldn't be penalized for nuetralizing it with authority. yes, plate rack....I was 4/4 quickly and hit the 5th with the 1st shot when it popped back up and befuddled me...missed #6 twice...settled down and hit it...slidelock...reload...hit #5...really ate up the time
  4. I shot my first IDPA match Saturday....loved it...didn't do too bad for a 15 yeat hiatus (I used to shot IPSC in the late 80s) However, I have a question. What is the rule if a plate is knocked down but pops back up?. I asked prior to shooting and I was told I had to to reengage. Well, it happened during my string and cost me a reload as I shoot CDP and there were 6 targets and after it popped back up I got flustered and missed it a couple of times...... Do you have to reengage a steel target that pops back up??
  5. what is the quickest way to stow them...putting them back in a mag holder has got to be time consuming...
  6. Hello all - I am interested in getting into back into competitive shooting, especially IDPA. I have shot IPSC for about 5 years in the late '80s, but at 42, I figure IDPA may suit me better now. In reviewing the rulebook I am left with a few questions. 1. Does the clock run the entire time, or stop and start with stage changes? This would make a big difference in # of mags to use. 2. On reloads, do I read it to say that they must be secured on person? In IPSC we just let them drop. 3. Are bottomless holsters, called slides, legal in IDPA? I like the Comp-Tac IWB slide holster. Thanks in advance, Wayne
