  1. I shoot in C class Limited. I have the course of fire on video, involves lots of movement and two reloads. When I was shooting it felt like I was moving delibratly and smoothly and at the same time I "felt" like I was at the limit of my ability. When I watched the video I was suprised to see how slow I was, but I only dropped 4 points (two Charlie's). I know that for that moment I was shooting at my 'present' best. Like many said preiviously, I would agree that awareness is foundemental...
  2. I have a Mosquito and have shot the MK II and I can tell you that I have a whole lot more "fun" shooting the Mark II than shooting the Mosquito. The Mosquito only brings me joy when I am introducing some one to shooting . My Mosquito had the same problems with ammo but cycles for me with the right ammo. As far as it being a training gun it just feels so different from any USPSA gun. The trigger and grip is just too different and I did not "feel" any benifit to my shooting (but that is me of course you may have more persistance and patience than I). .02 Phil
  3. Moved to NE in August. I live less then a half mile from an indoor range, but have not shot since I left PA. I have spent my spare money stocking up on supplies and hope to make it to a match in April. On January 5'th I intend on starting to dry fire again. Just need to get motivated...
  4. It is nice to hear something good about a gun show. I have never been to one before, but another story like this one just might motivate me more.
  5. Sounds like one of the good guys. Prayer to friends and family. Phil

  9. Topic title says it all really. I am driving down the road at about 40mph and my car turns off ! As it turns out my Impala needs a new presure seliniod in the transmission, about $1,072. So buy a new car or open up the wallet and hope the hole does not get deeper...

  11. Thanks for the snappy reply. Atleast I don't feel as dumb for the mere sugestion. Phil
  12. I agree with you on their commentators, but atleast they are not as bad as Bryant? Gumble on NFL Network last season...
  13. I have been looking around this forum and another and have not came across anyone using Blue Loc-Tite when mounting optics. Is it such a common idea that I am a complete nincumpoop for asking or am I a complete nimcumpoop for suggesting the mere thought of using Loc-Tite on optical mounts? If it is a no-go on the Loc-Tite, why? Thanks, Phil
  14. Mike, That was an incredibly reflective request you have bestowed upon us. It is also a request I am happy to say has been completed. I was out and about doing my Christmas shopping and was at WM and remembered reading your post a couple of days ago. So I found a bike and helmet and was walking up to the check out line and heard some one say, "Wow, someone is getting a new bike for Christmas." This person was not speaking to me, she made this comment to the person she was shopping with. I realized what an exceptionally good thing this was. I thought for a moment and remembered that I had some Thanksgiving holiday pay, so I actually bought two bikes and two helmets. Again on my way out the door I heard another make the comment that some one was getting a bike for Christmas. That feels good... Delivering the magic, Phil
