  1. I don't know if I could recommend the vaultek after seeing this:
  2. A little pricey, but wanted to recommend these - I've been using these for several months now and they've been really nice. Raise my glasses a little bit, but worth it for not getting ear fatigue: https://noisefighters.com/
  3. I've even seen some suggest running the m&p with no backstrap at all for small hands.
  4. Here are the pics from their website: There is a cover that will protect the emitter. Supposed to be able to stay attached under recoil:
  5. The Elftmann triggers were the most crisp I've ever felt, but at the time it didn't work in my AR9 - they now have an AR9 model that I haven't tried. Since then though, I went with the hiperfire 24c since that seems like the best working in AR9 and to be consistent I went with the hiperfire in my AR-15 too.
  6. I've used the Wheel Engineering Sight Tool and it worked really well: https://smile.amazon.com/Wheeler-Engineering-Construction-Gunsmithing-Maintenance/dp/B01B3NU0U2/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1
  7. Might also consider the Outer Impact dovetail red dot adapter - let's you try out a red dot before going down the path of getting the slide milled: https://outerimpact.com/shop/red-dot-adaptermount-smith-wesson-mp-pistol-m-r/
  8. There's also an Alloy Empire 1911 which has insane detail, down to the internal parts: They're hard to find, but I picked up one on ebay. The paint finish on some of the small parts wasn't great though, and it wasn't worth the price premium over the RW one. The silver one might be better - a friend has a silver Alloy Empire 92fs and it looks better.
  9. Probably not the content you're expecting, but I picked up one of these RW Minis 1911 as a desk toy and I'm really impressed with the detail for such a small size: https://www.opticsplanet.com/rw-minis-1911-45-cal-replica.html Trigger's not great, and safety doesn't actually prevent the hammer from falling, but still impressed overall. Fun toy.
  10. True. What I really want is more red dot alternatives with large windows. The Trijicon SRO is good, but still has distortion and glare issues that the Sig doesn't.
  11. The switching reticles seems interesting, I wonder if holosun makes it for them? Wish they had given it a bigger SRO-like window though.
  12. Wish they could have added support for the RTS-2 mount, allowing the Sig Romeo 3 Max and XL to fit. Would have beat Sig to making a gun that fits their own optic.
  13. S&W Customer Service got back to me - the new ones support the Deltapoint Pro and Nikon Spur.
  14. It looks like the CORE cut on the new performance center 2.0 M&Ps is different than the 1.0 - it’s a little longer as mentioned here: http://www.chpws.com/product/sw-performance-center-mp9-m2-0-c-o-r-e-pro-series-to-trijicon-rmr-sro-holosun-407c-407c-v2-507c-507c-v2-508t-508t-v2 In addition there are now 7 plates instead of the original 5 with the 1.0. They’re also plastic now instead of steel. Any ideas which optics the 2 new plates fit?
  15. Likewise, seems to be one of the triggers best able to handle the beating from a PCC.
  16. Another great video from SuperSetCA and Max!
  17. I'm not sure how a trigger return spring would help with light strikes... striker spring seems more likely the problem.
  18. Right, but the shell lifter on semi-autos is spring loaded down, just like the Remington, and it's not difficult to load those. Is the spring a lot stronger on the pump Remington?
  19. Has anyone mounted a Romeo 3 Max / XL or FTP Alpha 3 on an M&P Core? I know it won't fit with the included plates, but the C-more RTS-2 Core mounting plate might work (pricey, though): https://cmore.com/Item/MT-500 The closest image I've found of something similar is an RTS-2 mounted on an M&P Core, but it's on a russian site using a custom plate: https://malobukov.dreamwidth.org/2172.html
  20. Maybe not the best way, but here's one way of adjusting your slug zero:
  21. Don't all semi's (Benelli M2, Stoeger M3000, Remington Versamax) have a carrier that stays up? People load fine with those.
