  1. I shot it two weeks ago in open with 28 pnts in 3.53 for a hit factor of 7.9320. It's a 83.4947%
  2. I've found that i can reload sc brass just as many times as i pick it up. I probably have some thats been reloaded over ten times and i've never had a problem. And I know people that reload it a lot more times than I do
  3. openshooter

    Which one?

    Fishing skeet or trap?
  4. looks like you can learn a lot from this drill. How fast you can shoot AND how fast you can run. Shooting position set-ups and wind sprints all in one package
  5. I can honestly say that I load at least 50% of my ammo..................25% of the time
  6. Thanks Rye, I have never heard of that place before. And the price is right too
  7. Hey guys i've been searching everywhere for an OKO with no luck. I heard that they are no longer available in the US, but didn't know if anyone knew where i could still get one. I have have had one on my main gun for the last 4 yrs and love it, and would like to avoid the switch to C-more if possible. Now in the need of a back-up/replacement just in case. All help is greatly apreciated
  8. I would get a new limcat open gun for sure http://www.limcat.com/Site/Welcome.html
  9. I definately agree with you Paul. That would be a cool show to watch
  10. I have two poppel holes in my 9major gun, and they really dont make much of a difference. Except they make it so i need to clean my dot after almost every stage.
  11. I started out in USPSA with a 9mm single stack at 11yo. I then switched to open a year or so later.
  12. I have had my Limcat for the last five years and love it. Johnny always does nice work.
  13. I shot it in 7.59 down 3pnts in open for 85%
  14. I've got a Trijicon gift cert and was thinking of ordering a TA11E for a 308 gas gun (20" bbl). Was hoping someone has tried this and could give me their thoughts. How did chevron reticle work out, zero distance, load, did hold over lines work out? Not shooting his gun in competition. This gun is getting set up for the big one ..... (kidding). Also considering the Leupold 2.5-8X Mk4 M2 w/TMR reticle. Merry Christmas, Nick-
  15. I use a CR speed holster with an Arredondo "platform," where the muzzle touches the holster. http://www.arredondoaccessories.com/catego...quj&GID=CRS I've never had any problems while moving, even when the holster is unlocked.
  16. i like thr jp because its right there when you cant your head. theres no ajusting to get the right angle
  17. Thanks for all your suggestions. I'll shoot the Weaver for now. Hopefully I'll be able to try an ACOG and a dot on the forearm or something similar down the road. Time to practice for the 3 gun Nationals. Hope to see some of you there. Thanks again, Nick
  18. I want to thank everybody for their input. I'm new to the forums and a junior shooter. I apologize for not using the search function. I appreciate kellyn for opening the topic back up. I can't decide if I should use a variable power scope or fixed power scope (ACOG) and a dot on the handguard or on top of the scope. I have a Weaver 1-3x on my rifle right now and will shoot it for a while. I was just wondering if there was a better way to go for an open rifle. My rifle was built by Benny Hill, so I'm shooting one of his comps. Thanks again for the suggestions. Nick
  19. A disadvantage to shooting with one eye closed is that your field of view is smaller. That's bad if your shooting a game like IPSC or 3 gun.
  20. Try squeezing the trigger,so that it's almost a surpise when the gun goes off. Not pulling it it one big jerk. This moves the whole gun. That will probably fix the low and left problem if you are a right handed shooter.
