  1. Since 2017 CZ shadow 2's where cheap as f*#k. I remember the price being 930-970€ for one in 2017. Since EG joined the Team their price is going up allot. I'm expecting more Tanfo's again, because everyone's excuse was price. While a standard CZ Shadow 2 is better ouf of the box, trigger wise. They don't deliver wide safety's anymore and their price is high for a CZ. And I expect to see allot more Tanfoglio shooters in the future. IPSC PDO Junior World Champ Piotr is shooting for Tanfo, and killing it. I just ordered a stock 2 OR for 1620€.
  2. I've handled their production and standard models at EEO CZ prematch If I'm not mistaken( impression was ok, didn't know price though). The open is new, wasn't there yet. I'm a Tanfo/CZ guy. Edit: Quality wise of machining. It looked superior to CZ/Tanfo. (busting my own balls there) HPS guns deals them, as he deals Bul Armory for germany. Though for an open, your better off letting him build a gun. Vastly superior, Bul it's track record ain't great lately. Lot's of major guns breaking.
  3. Hi, Anyone seen something like this before? My slide seems to have cracked at the front where it contacts the cone bull barrel. The wear marks are lower (on slide and cone) and higher then the place what looks like a crack (weakest point though since it's where the rails are cut and material is thinnest). Can't get a more decent picture atm. It's at both sides. Cone always had a thin layer of slide glide on it. Gun should be somewhere in the 70K+ rounds. 2015 years model Stock 2 xtreme version.
  4. I started practical shooting in 2017 at 30, shot my first matches in half 2018 and full season 2019. Then corona came, nothing till summer 2021 with some LVL 3's in east EU countries. But that's it, 2022 was my best year, should be going to EHC in Greece as part of the National team prod div. I never thought this would be possible in 2019. I'm still having f*#k ups, and still learning. But god I f*#king love shooting. Remember you don't need to win a single stage to win a match. You just need to be the most consistant, without the least ammount of f*#k-ups.
  5. Gents, I have a job opportunity in Wichita Falls Texas. I'm just wondering how active practical shooting is in that area. (I'm from EU) Also regarding to reloading components, how hard is it to get them atm in the US? Because primers (and powder) is hard to get over here atm. Bringing most of my guns over shouldn't be a problem, but I won't get my components over probably. Any other info would be appreciated. At first glans from what I've found Wichita doesn't look all that great, but I might be wrong. Thx
  6. The shooter and IPSC world champion Jorge Ballesteros is found wounded by a bullet and in a very serious condition (revistajaraysedal-es.translate.goog) Doesn't read like an accident to me. Sadly...
  7. Not a big fan of Major in these cheapest division for 2 reasons: -It pushes again the price, brass is expensive and you are not allowed to brass pick on allot of LVL3 matches. -Major guns break, aftermarket support in the EU is not like in the US. (to make it short, the laws, permission for new slides or barrels, will take at least months not even gonna mention the parts. I shoot with a stock 2, I need to go to another country because mine doesn't have an importer anymore because of lack of interest. For that I need export and import licenses and all the hassle around it. Then I need to present the parts(SN parts) or firearm to the central weapon register.
  8. Mag capacity destroys divisions... PCC just got limited to 10 rounds in my country. Because pre 2019 folks can have 30 rounds and some stupid EU gun law(aftermath of IS terrorist and EU idiots) PCC is non-existent now, while it's alive and kicking in FR, CZ, PL, etc... where they can run extended mags... Before PCC there was low velocity rifle and that was alive in the old days, but is hit with the same rules. I don't even bother buying 10 round mags for my MPX. They are 90€ a piece and 10 round mag reloads are a joke on a carbine. Almost the whole mag disappears in the magwell.
  9. Why would you allow slide cuts? The only reason I can think of, is to let the gucci clocks shoot production. Now people are getting CZ/Tanfo's cut to shoot production. Production should be the cheapest division. Allowing cuts doesn't make any sense... 10 round mags, make it 15. It's perfect, need less mags which is slightly cheaper for a new shooter, mags are reliable, no playing with followers and springs (this one is rather regarding CO) Let the ban state shoot production 10 round limited. If you want to shoot 10 round mag's, there's classic.
  10. Production is still the biggest division in IPSC in general, PO is growing but not much by people switching from production in general. It's the older guys or those who have issues with sight who now have another division instead of Open to shoot. Standard and Open is rather small lately. Open is getting more and more expensive, the lack of gunbuilders or what are budget open guns being oversold in the EU. For example Bul armory prices are rediculous, if you compare them to the price sold in the US it's night and day difference.
  11. It's for IPSC, the only reason. The stock masters are not IPSC legal. Tbh USPSA's rules regarding production leave me with allot of question marks, no wonder the division is doing bad in the US and good elsewhere. I'd love some more info about the new trigger system though...
  12. Not sure what u mean exactly with a round slide, but I've got a Stock 2 extreme from 2015 with at least 65K through it.
  13. As said above, something is off with the disco and the trigger bar. Check it out.
  14. What this man said^^ Mine has 60k+ atleast, and has a smooth polished ramp from the disco rubbing over. Mine is polished and tuned (extreme internals, but unica hammer gave some timing problems, which needed "allot" of fitting) I always oil the ramp and sear/hammer. I've had a soft Titan hammer which had some serious wear after 20k rounds (where the slide touches) , replaced it with a Unica. This one is hardened correctly and is not wearing like the other one. Hardness of the surface may be an issue.
  15. We need some reviews on this one! It's on my list, Bul dropped out of it since we can't buy them where we want and are forced through our Area Vendor in the EU and his pricing is utterly through the roof, not to mention he's not a trustworthy person with a bad rep. 9 or 38?
  16. The domina can be ordered in Small or large frame 9MM. But the ones I've seen in EU are LF.
  17. Gents, I just noticed, that when selecting barrel specs on their gun builder there's only 9*21 and 9*23 and .38's.. 9mm major ain't available anymore in 9*19?... Anybody has more info on this why? I thought they also sold 9*19 guns... kr C
  18. I have exact the same problem. On black friday I couldn't resist and bought a Unica DA/SA hammer which comes included with a new disco. After installment I noticed the SA drops in DA all the time. DA was fine. When I swapped the disco's(from my Titan, fitted by EG his gunsmith), the SA didn't drop in DA unless I didn't let the trigger fully forward. So after racking the slide and letting the trigger fully forward, then the SA would work and not fall into DA.When racking the slide and then just letting the trigger reset, the hammer would fall into DA.I clearly see the disco getting stuck at the trigger bar.Should I take some off the underside of the wing? And to possibly compensate for earlier release of DA take a lil bit of on the underside of the disco?Small note: my EG modified disco has the top of it fully flattened, so there's no more a hump?(this kinda confuses me) And on the inside of the diso the rounded corner is made square.
