  1. Hi, I shoot 9mm major (Armscor brass, 7,0 gr 3N37 powder, 124 gr RN bullet, CCI SPP = 168 PF) in my BA UR and have an 8 pound recoil spring and shock buffer. I've tested everything from a 7 to a 10. 8 felt best and shoots flattest for me personally. "Correct spring" depends a lot on shooter's preference, to include your grip.
  2. Bul also sells their steel grips seperately. I had them fitted by a fellow handy and experienced competitor.
  3. Looking forward to video review by first customers ... I contacted DAA here in EU, and they are looking if and when the Genesys will become available. As soon as I can get one, I'll test and review it.
  4. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in "speed mode" with focus on movement, transitions and splits at local indoor range with performance analysis.
  5. I don't remember in which video exactly, but I've heard Eric Grauffel state he advises on the new CZ race gun and that it would propably come out in 2024.
  6. Fellow shooter pointed me to a new open race gun "AZ-P1 Giant" by "Arma Zeka": https://www.armazeka.cz/en/news/new-az-p1-giant-1 Does anyone here already have experience with other "Arma Zeka" guns? What is your experience with quality, precision, ...? Can they handle major loads? Thanks!
  7. Just saw UR's video on the new Mark 7 Genesys reloading press. In another video I heard that they plan to release and ship it out around the end of March/April 2023. The press looks interesting, and I hope they learned from the release of the Apex-10, especially the priming system, ensuring everything runs smoothly and correctly from the start for new buyers
  8. When I think that the point of aim and point of impact are off too much, I recheck the zero (12m (range distances in EU are smaller than in US)+ arms (not gun) fully supported). When I confirmed the zero, I video the gun shooting in my hands to detect issues with grip, grip pressure, incorrect trigger control, etc. and adjust accordingly.
  9. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in strategy mode at local indoor range with performance analysis. 2 stages are each shot multiple times, each time with a different strategy: focus on accuracy (max. A's), focus on pushing speed (A's and close C's), mix accuracy/speed (full speed at "attack targets", slow down on "control targets").
  10. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. He was a great shooter, learned alot from his match and training videos! His legacy will exist in his Bul Armory Bullesteros race guns!
  11. 3rd and 1st person view video of IPSC Handgun training in "Technique Mode", incl. 4 drills around shooting into/out of position and on the move. Focus is on the correct technical execution, good ASP, Trigger Control & A's (using black marker as clear aim point on targets) on local indoor range with performance analysis.
  12. Video of a 8'-presentation, directed towards new and beginner IPSC-USPSA shooters, that explains what shot cadence or shot rhythm is and how you can train and improve it to gain time engaging targets in different target arrays faster and sooner.
  13. 5 x 15 minutes dry fire per week (each time around 1 specific fundamental or advanced skill) and 2 x 3 hours live fire per week (Technique Mode - Strategy Mode - Speed Mode - Club Match)
  14. Hi cykapath, I suggest to take a look at the video below, especially at timestamp 12:00 on transitions. More of my videos, as well as great third party content in different playlists.
  15. If you really want to be competitive in Open Division (OD), I strongly recommend major. Shooting major in OD impacts your HF% positively with 2 to 5% (depending on level). But I do not recommend shooting major with a Glock, even with a comp.
