  1. Switched from the DAA Alpha-X to the DAA Flex holster.
  2. I've been told by a competitive shooter, who already reloads his own ammo for almost 3 decades, that a different primer rarely significantly increases the PF, but in some rare instances it can increase, but no more than max. 0.5-1.5 PF. Myself, I've reloaded 9 mm major ammo over the past 4 years with CCI, Federal, Magtech, Fiocci and Winchester SPP, but I have not noticed any PF changes using otherwise same reloading components and COAL's and testing with a Labradar to measure the PF.
  3. Hmm, did you reach out to FA Customer Service? This is also an interesting YT channel with alot of videos on the X10: https://www.youtube.com/@bragginrightsprecisionrelo346/videos
  4. Hi, did you check out the instructional videos on the Frankford Arsenal YT-Channel, incl. primer set up and trouble shooting? https://www.youtube.com/@frankfordarsenal632/videos
  5. Fully agree, once you set up the A10 correctly, know how it operates and you maintain it correctly is a dream and huge time saver. Agree too on the support, with special call out to John Vlieger!
  6. Hi, check out this FB Group for most current updates: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Mark7Reloaders/
  7. Indeed at the end always the individual shooters' preference
  8. I changed the sub 1lb on my open guns to a ~2lb (changed out springs, incl. leaf spring), because it was way too sensitive, for example to prep the trigger (and therefor also too dangerous for competition purposes). For me personally 2lb is the sweet spot beween a light, but more importantly, a safe and reliable trigger. Except for the high level pro-shooters, I don't think regular competitors gain alot with a sub 1lb trigger, but they can loose alot.
  9. Lately I received some questions on if and how I plan my stages based on the HF. Yep, I do, and also constantly try to adjust based on new insights/trials/errors . I put my current 3-step process in the attachment. Point of attention: HF's in IPSC and USPSA are not the same, generally higher in the US. This is meant more for IPSC.
  10. Have both and now only use the AMG for training and matches: high quality, just the right size, easy to use, very good battery life (using external batteries), links up with PS CA.
  11. I heard that Mark 7 will start sending them out somewhere September/October 2023 ... Mark 7 is alledgedly also working on a new priming system for the Apex 10 to replace the tube and also the Primer Express ...
  12. Adopt a process and repeat it consistently. This is a video I made on the topic. Maybe you can find some inspiration in/from it:
  13. I spoke to Ben from BA at the EEO2023. He told me BA does not produce steel framed guns, nor ship out the 2-part steel grip, anymore. They were confronted with several cases of cracked parts, principally, he stated, because shooters did not maintain/check the grip screws enough/correctly, whereby they come loose and increase tension on the gun, leading to cracks . If you regularly check that the screws are tight, you shouldn't have any issues, but if you don't, the risk of breaking/cracking is real. There might still be some BA models or grips circulating at stores. Today they use polymer grips, together with the Tungsten magwell.
