  1. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in technique mode at local indoor range with performance analysis. 5 drills with focus on shooting in and out of positions left-right, up range-down range, etc.
  2. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training with 5 stages in speed mode at local indoor range with performance analysis.
  3. 3rd & 1st person view video with performance analysis (except Stage 1) of my IPSC HG Level 1 Match with 7 stages. Results: 1st OD and a fantasy division.
  4. I had and still have a Dillon S1050 and bought an Apex10, which I automated and upgraded gradually. The Apex10 is my primary reload press. I'm a competitive IPSC shooter in Open Division and shoot a 2011 9mm major. So reloading is a critical process. Therefor I still have and will keep the Dillon S1050 as my secondary press for when the Apex10 would break down. Super happy with the Apex10!
  5. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in technique mode at local indoor range with performance analysis. 8 drills with special attention to draw, 1st shot, transitions and cadence/splits, to include on "control targets" (mental note: there are no no-shoots).
  6. In EU I heard somewhere between €5000 and €6500 ... but again, from secondhand source.
  7. 3rd & 1st person view video with performance analysis of my last VDSZ IPSC HG Level 1 Match with 8 stages. Results: 1st OD and a fantasy division. VDSZ was my secondary IPSC club, SNPS is my primary IPSC club, where as of 01032024 we started training twice per week. To balance my private and professional life, I had to make a hard choice. I want to thank the management of the VSCZ Shooting Range, all my fellow VDSZ IPSC Competition Team shooters, with special attention to fellow RO and PI Geert H. for his help, support and friendship! Hope to see you all soon at future matches ...
  8. Things I'd look for are: - Approximate round count, incl. minor or major loads - Prior usage (USPSA, Steel Challenge, etc.) - Overall condition, how does it look (carbon settings, breach face, comp, etc.) - Does everything work flawlessly (safety, mag release) - Fit of slide to frame (not too much movement) - Status of the frame and slide to look for any cracks - Fit of comp on barrel (alligned, straight, no movement) - Status of barrel rifling
  9. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in technique mode at local indoor range with performance analysis. 4 drills with 4 different types of swingers, shot in several different ways and special attention to technique and accuracy.
  10. 3rd & 1st person view video with performance analysis of IPSC HG Level 1 Club Match with 6 stages. 1st OD and a fantasy division.
  11. For the competitor IPSC and USPSA shooters that haven't found, nor subscribed to Ben Stoeger's YT-Channel yet, go check it out: https://www.youtube.com/@BenStoeger187/videos He kickstarted it again and is pushing out great really training content!
  12. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in technique mode at local indoor range with performance analysis. 4 drills with special attention to shooting swingers and a runner.
  13. I have the automated Apex 10 as my primary reload press and the Super 1050 (previous gen of the RL1100) as my back up press for all my 9mm major ammo. Both are actually great presses, but the built and quality of the Apex is superior to the Dillon and more importantly the Apex has 10 stations, which enables you to set up any and all dies, incl. a seperate seating and crimp dies, and can be upgraded with great tools made by and for the Apex. I think at the end it's predominantly a budgettary decision. If you can make the budgets available I strongly recommend the Apex over the Dillon.
  14. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in strategy mode at local indoor range with performance analysis. 3 stages, shot several times in accuracy, speed and match mode, with deep focus on "reading the stage", determining hit factor, best stage strategy and optimal stage planning.
  15. They're not out yet. M7 is still tweaking it. I think the earliest they will be available is end of 2024.
  16. Several competitive shooters I know shoot the CZ Czechmate in open division with 9mm minor ammo, incl. a 9 lbs recoil spring. The gun works fine. The comp is not really effective due to the minor load and limited gas creation thereof. In addition, if you shoot IPSC or USPSA, you get less points for C's and D's in minor vs. 9mm major, which puts you in a competitive disadvantage.
  17. 3rd and 1st person view of IPSC HG training in technique mode at local indoor range with performance analysis. 7 fundamental drills with special attention to technique and accuracy.
  18. According to the specs 29, but in practice 28. But I always take 1 out to preventatively avoid mag feeding issues.
  19. Received and installed the TTI 3mm base plates on the 170 AGW big stick mags. I tested them in the IPSC mag gauge: all clear and good to go.
  20. 3rd & 1st person view video with performance analysis of the first IPSC HG Level 1 Club Match of 2024 with 6 stages. 1st OD and a fantasy division.
  21. There is no "best press. The choice for a reloading press is IMO very personal and dependent on a set of parameters: # of rounds reloaded and shot, space for the press, technical experience, etc. , but more importantly the time you want to spend on the press and your budget. All presses have their advantages and disadvantages, lovers and haters, and presses that run flawlessly, as well as presses that go from one issue to another ... . Try to find someone who has the press(es) you're interested in and go see and feel it. If not possible, check out Youtube: lots of user reviews available. Good luck!
