  1. well, it worked, sort of. I had to flip one bracket so it would hold. I think it will be just fine and is pretty daggon neat.
  2. I *think I have this problem solved. I have a ton of RAM Mount products and have used them in a LOT of applications. They have a mobile printer cradle they may just fit the bill I also have a slight stock of ram arms and bases, but has to order the camera ball. About $45 shipped for this stuff, so we will see how it works
  3. I always say just get the CGW kit and grab some 2000 grit. as for the exterior.....thats up to you. Sights, Dawson...hands down ...or mill it an run Open Poors
  4. if you are used to the SP-01, Keep shooting it. The rear cut on the S2 is deeper than the SP-01, it will make your presentation a bit off. I have a few SP-01/S1, added the S2 and quickly ditched it. Its (S2) a top notch gun, but having 1,000s or rounds on the SP-01, it through me off a bit.
  5. I will also add the 407 has the RMR/SRO footprint. I have 3 of each and they all fit the milling/mounts I have. it is WHY I went the two (SRO/407)
  6. 25 yards. That will keep you in the A zone from 3 to 50 yards and a wee bit of hold over at 100 yards (100 yrds if you shoot multigun)
  7. the legs are clip on and not very conducive to sturdy mounting. I think some JB weld may be in order
  8. I recently picked up a new CED Timer as I need to learn it, all the local places use them over any other brand. While buying that, I got the BigBoard combo. Using it at a match this weekend, I realized, I need a better way to prop it up. So, I ordered a tripod (needed it for the cell cam anyways). Now I need to figure out how to mate the two. Any ideas?
  9. yup..... I have two thumbrest....Open Poors!
  10. Seems the SRO is having less issues posted...POSTED being the keyword. for competition use, the SRO seems best, I dont think either is above the other for non competition use.
  11. if we could have seen The Precious, I may have bought some TT ones.....
  12. I dont know where I will be getting them from....Big Tex outdoors maybe? Trijicon is sending me more, and the plates I just got from CZ USA (for my P10F) has a set it in, so I will use those for the time being.
  13. it could be.....OpSec and all that....LOL Not saying I will be out there this weekend either
  14. I run Hennings too I now have 10 of them bastards
  15. good deal, I was curious as how this does in an S2. I only had to work the corners of 3 to get it to fit the slide. I started to file off 1 and gave up, thats some hard damned metal! I did not really do anything on the shaft other than take the finish off to make it fit. This is for an SP-01 and a Shadow 1 Now I know it can work in an S2, may keep my eye out for good deal on one. Dont even ask how I had to modify the wide SP-01 safety...LOL
  16. it had the bosses. I am convinced this would have happened no matter what. Next set of screws will be something different
  17. let me rephrase the question, what did you modify on the nitro fin in order for it to fit
  18. I am not sure I want to run the screws from Trijicon. I have had two SROs go flying. This one pictured had less then 2K rounds on it. My SP-01 had about 6K on it. Both screws sheared on both pistols
  19. What all did you have to fit on this? Just curious as I have both the S1 and the SP-01 with these. May add an S2, so it will need one also.
  20. yup. Production is good to go as long as it fits in the box, but....about 1mm needs to be removed from over all width. Carry optics, well, there aint a CO that fits in the box anyways, so no mods needed.
