  1. Thanks I will definitively do the springs. I really don’t know what poundage it is since I bought it used I was just told 10. It would be a good idea to change both and know what they are. I have 1.2k 125gr right now I will experiment with hs6 and see if I get less dot movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I am very interested to hear how it goes for you! Good luck, must be exciting getting all that work done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks! I am getting 172. I will definitely take the advice here and experiment with hs6. I didn’t even think about it till now lol. I just feel like there may be a way to get a little less dot movement. This is my first open gun so I don’t have much experience with how to make it flat but I guess yeah start out with load before I start doing the expensive stuff like slide cutting and making holes. I guess when I get there I will appreciate it more after shooting a bunch of rounds and getting to know the system better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for the info! I am open to trying new loads too and I also have blue gullets that I want to try out. They are 124gr and I was going to drop the charge a bit with the autocomp but I do have some hs6 on hand too. What would you suggest to load for? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hello All. Trying out this video link but here are the specs of my setup. Sti trubor 10lb recoil spring with wc buffer 125gr zero JHP 7.2 autocomp Stock slide no slide racker I was wondering if it would be worth getting a slide lightening job when I get a zig racker fitted. Would I have a flatter gun with the same load? Anybody have experience in this situation? Thanks for any info! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah he is down to these 2 brands and he looked at them all. I like the intfinities too, freakin beast. I wish I got into this game when I was single and deployed/overseas as much as I could lol

  8. My buddy is on the fense on Atlas or Akai. He has all the time to wait really, he is getting stationed overseas for a couple years and is gonna have it when he gets back. I told him Akai if it was my money just based on what I have been hearing. But of course both are really good. I just bought his outgoing open gun (STI Trubor) and I will some day get an Akai.
  9. Oh I see my bad I overlooked that part. Yeah mine has some wear on the edge and I don’t know about the glass part. From all my videos I can’t tell if it hits glass or not on mine. I guess I’ll wait for any more signs to see if it is happening. I only have about a thousand rounds through it.
  10. I have johnnyglocks, pyramid, and tti. My favorite so far is highly polished stock with minus connector and tti plunger spring. The reset isn’t short but I got used to it and .14 splits are normal at close range.
  11. I noticed mine hit brass a bit too but I don’t mind. The dpp is solid and I am really not worried about it. Shoots too good ?
  12. Yup I am hoping it works out but I am currently shooting CO with my G34 so limited is kinda on the backburner for now. I hope the springs were the case though, seems like the other ones work very good for 9mm but for 200gr Blue Bullets they didn't have enough umph to push them up fast enough.
  13. yeah I did this to my 40sw mags. When i push the follower down it feels much stronger but yeah I can only put 19 in the mag. I still need to go test it out but I have a feeling they were nose diving because of weaker springs.
  14. I tried the 33 round magazine xtra power springs from Wolf and cut them to fit 19 rounds with the TTI 140mm basepad. When I push the follower down it feels much stronger than the springs that came with the basepad. This might help but I haven't tested it out yet.
  15. TTI GM Kit, Stock Reset spring, Zev Lightened Striker= My Favorite. Lots of pre-travel but it doesn't bother me. Super light and nice break & reset.
  16. I know that most do. It is nice to be able to just unscrew the optic and put the cover plate.
  17. Awesome! Love my g20. I am glad you shot indoors and got your brass back haha.
  18. Good to know! I wonder if there is anything I could do to the magazine to get it running smoother. I wanted to make it to that match, had a bunch of friends there from North Dakota here. Looks like it was a good match! Well I am gonna try and smooth out the inside of a bottom part of the mag maybe that will help? It’s just that I have a bunch of blues that I loaded up.
  19. I used to have this issue with my 35. I use a 24 now and I have had some of the same. Trying a stock recoil spring next time out. Hoping I could stick with blue bullets
  20. I use the Arredondo extensions for my g20. You’ll need to mod the bottom of the mags a bit but they will work
  21. Just wanted to see how the triggers are running? I just adjusted my competition kit in my G24 and it feels great. Short reset. I just need to get used to the .40 coming from production with a tanfo. So far so good with the Johnny trigger! I have the 4.5 striker spring on it and it has lit all my win primers so far. Has anyone tried the 4.0 striker spring?
  22. I love my C-More railway 3MOA. I have only tried the DPP with an AR riser prior. Sticking with the Railway and may even try the 6MOA some time but I am happy with it.
  23. Hello! I have the standard billet and so far I love it. I have the standard selector switch from the QC10 standard parts kit included in my order. I had to lube it up because it was very stiff but now it feels great. After putting a techwell magwell on, reloads are stupid easy. It is a great lower and I have not had any problems with it. I think the QC10 lower is a keeper for me, so far I put a little over 1K rounds and a local match in which I won HOA with the Taccom barrel. I ended up switching my barrel back to a 16" faxon without a feed ramp and have yet to have any issues from a range trip yesterday sighting it in and shooting about 100+ rounds playing around with it. I only switched because I am not used to the way the taccom barrel moves the dot and I was getting a lot of Charlies on follow up shots which happened a whole lot less on my old barrel. I prefer the way my faxon barrel recoils with a light load making 130-135PF. Sillouette steel at 125 yards offhand is a breeze. I am very happy that I went with the QC10 lower and upper, I think it is a match made in heaven as far as how light and streamline it is.
