  1. Simple solution with a big smile on your face. Send to Pinnacle Custom or TK Custom both. I have a trigger from Pinnacle Custom it is at 6.5 lbs original firing pin been shooting the revolver for at least 15 years and it is still smooth as can be and still at 6.5 lbs.
  2. There are areas that need to be polished and a change in the rebound spring will help. Or just send to Pinnacle Custom or TK Custom and have a action job completed. What you have described above would almost be like putting high grade racing oil in your car and expect it to become a race car. It is a number of things that need to be done to get to that ultimate trigger. Do a search and you will find all sorts of advice and tips on how to get there.
  3. Yes I would as a deal is a deal. Now if matteekay responds to my offer.
  4. If you pay all my expenses I will make sure Jerry touch’s it. ✌
  5. Truly one of a kind and if you ever met him you would never forget him. Rest In Peace Bubber and we will meet again someday. ✌
  6. Great match, good to be shooting again. It was great to be around revolver shooters again and for those who knew Roger Davis (Bubber) he passed last week and he will be sorely missed.
  7. Don’t know about the 750 but have 2 650’s and have never had a problem with seating below flush and I am talking over 25 years and 10 of thousands of rounds.
  8. First question, have you ever been a match director or a volunteer at a ICORE match, regional or IRC? If not why, and with all your insight and free time it should fall into your time schedule. I would show up to a match that you promote and run and I will even help RO on my dime. Here are the clubs in California that promote ICORE and I am sure they would appreciate the help. Apply to ICORE to hold a regional or the IRC with a plan and they will look at and approve a match to the schedule. Some of the best IRC's I attended were in California at San Luis Obispo at the Hogue range. So to put it into simpler words either get on board to help run matches and improve or if you just chose to shoot and not help and then bitch. Well then just shut the f---k up and enjoy what others put out there to enjoy and don't shoot ICORE and go back to NSCA. Life is that simple.
  9. That is to close for comfort as depending on the temperature and altitude at different ranges you might not pass crono. I try to settle around 130 so I can make both ICORE and USPSA.
  10. We have Scheels in Iowa and they are like any other big name store lots of merchandise and high prices. Spend your extra time going to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park you can't go wrong.
  11. Did he not notice it if he had fired 3000 round or at least clean it once.
  12. Your friend won douche bag of the year as when he first noticed the damage he kept firing these. If you want to shoot magnum loads get new brass and only shoot new brass and good primers. When the damage was first noticed he should have stopped then and figured it out before it got to the point of where it is at now. Send it to S&W and hopefully they will fix at no cost if not I will give him $5.00 and he pays the shipping.
  13. Put a red or black 1” square in the middle of the x zone it will give you the same aiming point as you are trying to sight in. By not having an aiming point your group will never get smaller as your hold will change every time
  14. You know I was talking about revolver shooting don't you.
  15. In all my revolvers I run 6 to 6 1/2 lbs and all still have the original firing pin. Never have measured the length but they go bang every time with Federal primers. The reason for the 6 to 6 1/2 lbs as when I would go lighter I would find myself short stroking. To me when in competition I could not tell the difference between 4 1/2 to 5 over the 6 to 6 1/2 I run.
  16. I would still stay with the 627 as less problems to make it work. The brass cost issue is mute as I am still shooting the original 1000 short colt I purchased years ago and had loaded over 20 times maybe more. I do like the 27-7 and I wish I had never sold my 6 1/2” 27 but I still have the 5”.
  17. Used it for years and it works for stainless also
  18. That being said if the TSA agent is an ass wipe then no you cannot have in your carry on ✌
