  1. Allchin and BMT 90 degree mounts. As you can see the Allchin sits closer to the bore.
  2. When you cal S&W it is a crap shoot sometimes they will sell you a cylinder and sometimes they won’t. I called and got a 38 Super and .357 cylinder right about $100 each. Couple of weeks later friend tried to buy a .357 cylinder. They told him they did not sell them to the public. Go figure
  3. When I get home I can but basically he centered the entrance into the notch and then cut the entrance and notch just a minute deeper. I doubt if pictures will show it. One way to see if the cylinder stop is lined up to the center of the notch is to look at the marks on your cylinder and if they are not centered going into the cylinder ramp(that is not what it is called I just don’t know the name) before it enters the notch itself the it is not aligned properly. That is how it was explained to me.
  4. This was done to my revolvers a long time ago by Mark Hartshorne with Pinnacle Custom and I have never had problems with the notches getting peened and that was the reason I had him do that on his recommendation. One less thing to worry about. Oh and the reason I had it done in the first place is I was at a match in Wisconsin and it happened and the rest of the match went downhill quick.
  5. Since the diameter of the bullet is that of a .32 yes it would be legal. Such as a revolver you can shoot .357, 38 Special, 38 Long Colt and 38 Short Colt. The only thing that changed is the length. So with the 30 Super Carry the only difference between a.32 Magnum and a 30 Super Carry is the length. Next to consider to be legal would be power factor and all that has to be met is 120 PF. Now if S&W would come out with a 10 shot 30 Super Carry. Sweet ✌
  6. New Jersey vs Daniel Bias not a CCW shooting a I thought it was but it was hand loaded ammo that Daniel used for CCW. Interesting read and six years sentenced due to hand loaded ammo. Me myself factory ammo only why take a chance.
  7. I am not a lawyer but a while back I remember reading where a CCW was dragged through a lawsuit even though his shooting was legal. But they tried to go after him because he was using hand loaded ammo. I don’t know how it ended but the argument was that he specifically loaded the ammo to be deadly and lethal. I thought that was stupid since ammo you buy for self defense will kill just as dead. But with anti gunners out there and if you were drug into court by someone you shot but they survived there is a possibility they could sue you. I since then carry factory ammunition to not have that possibility if I should ever have to use. Again I am not a lawyer but I thought I would just put this out there.
  8. Well if Ruger is not going to make anymore Super GP100’s in .357 also. It looks like mine just doubled in price. What a start to 2023 ✌

    S&W 610

Well darn it now I have to get a S&W 500 again and I always thought it was tree sap piled up next to the trees. Good thing I didn’t collect it for syrup.

    S&W 610

I had to get rid of my S&W 500 as I found out Iowa did not have elephants . ✌

    S&W 610

Merry Christmas to me. I had a 5” 610 the first year they were made and sold it because someone wanted it more than me. I have looked for another one for a long long time that was not ridiculously expensive. Today I scored and I am a proud owner of a S&W 610 with 5” barrel.
  13. I think the saying is “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. “ Won’t Get Fooled Again is a song by the Who. ✌
  14. It pays to also have a friend that has an FFL. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year ✌
  15. Most FFL can ship to and from each other and use USPS Priority Mail. Cost $15 to $20 dollars to ship and what ever they charge for doing it. I guess I am lucky that where I ship UPS they always ship 2 day. I tell them it is a firearm and they ship 2 day. I never ask or tell them it should go overnight. I figure it is up to them to know their own rules.
  16. When you put the amount of money into a revolver like I did and it has served me well for over 14 years give or take a year. The cost to have it run 100% and still running now without any other work done on it comes out pretty cheap. Spend once and shoot away or piece meal it till it runs.
  17. Mark does excellent work as he is the one who built my revolvers and has worked on a number of mine.
  18. That is why mine would be gone for $2500 as it would be a better deal with the Houge BB, extended cylinder release and M*Carbo spring kit.
  19. I did not put the whole GB auction on just the final bid. I agree that you can call and buy outright and then auction or sale is closed. But both of these were legitimate auctions that went the full auction and each had over 30 bids. ✌
