  1. What springs did you use and what pounds were they? What it the weight on the trigger now?
  2. As far as price I got lucky as I had been looking for awhile. Cheapest I could find was $1050 + shipping. Looked on Buds Guns on February 16 and $981 + free shipping. I was showing some on February 17 what I had ordered and the price had jumped to $1151 and free shipping. Good thing I have a very understanding wife and she let me order that day. Early birthday present to me even though my birthday is not till May.
  3. As of right now I am looking at a spring kit from M*Carbo which includes shims. They have a real comprehensive video on YouTube on installing and polishing points. I think I am going to give them a try.
  4. DAA Race Master N frame fit perfect. Now to try and get the trigger lighter. It is pretty smooth out of the box but at double action buried my trigger scale so well over 12 lbs.
  5. Moon clip server with 2 single post North Mountain.
  6. Nobody twists your arms or makes you purchase anything from them. So why do you go there? Simple question.
  7. USPSA 8 shooters dominate 6 and 7 will not be competitive
  8. Not a bad price but it is a seven shot not any good in USPSA or ICORE. Would be good in steel challenge.
  9. That is good to know as I did not want to buy a new holster
  10. I have not received it yet as I just ordered it on Saturday. I figured that since Ruger is our major sponsor in ICORE I needed to own one. At least that is what I told my wife. I was hoping to hear from anyone who has been shooting one to chime in. I am hopeful that maybe with a little or no fitting that I will be able to use my DAA that I use for my N-frame S&W. I will let you all know what I come up with once I have it in hand. Dean
  11. What holster are people using for the new Ruger Super GP 100?
  12. I actually had a .356 barrel put on mine and .358 bullets still group the best.
  13. That is what has been said. I can’t remember if somebody actually slugged the barrel when they first came out. I think there is an earlier discussion on this some where in the forums. I know a friend of mine has the 627 in 38 super and the barrel is .357.
  14. The answer might be as simple as they like to cry about revolver as they truly have a deep down lust to shoot revolvers. It seems the other divisions have to many opinions, options, paper GM’s, snobby people and the list goes on for them to be noticed . But the few revolver shooters left are true competitors. After all what can you do to a revolver to gain an edge. It is not like the other divisions where you see people cry about weight, magazine capacity, light triggers so on and so forth. As I read the responses to this question and it has stretched out to 6 pages and the same people who complained earlier have come back to complain some more shows truth to what I wrote above. As far as soccer goes my daughter played all the way though high school and the tournaments she attended starting in first grade did not hand out participation trophies. In fact probably not a one of you could probably keep up with them for a full game. So in ending my little input to this please keep putting in your 2 cents into this forum as it is entertaining to read such comments from people who are the same ones who probably voted for Hillary. ✌out
  15. I bet it bends the same when stepped on
  16. I have been shooting short colts for years now and I have only ruined 2 due to me stepping on 1 and a RO stepping on one. Not quite sure by what you mean by more durable.
  17. This I don’t get. To have a .357 reamed to 9mm when you can accomplish the same thing by shooting short colts. If you do this because you only shoot factory ammo it makes sense. Because you can’t buy 38 short colt in factory ammo.
  18. I know Mike Carmoney is coming as he has to protect his title.
  19. I might try to make the Big Dawg and are you going down to the ICORE Regional in Columbia MO this year?
  20. 62 is not old it is the new young. Live life like you own it. In USPSA I made B class in open using a revolver with a dot. I was 60 at the time. I do not see myself slowing down until they put me in the ground. ✌
  21. No nerve hit here as people who know me know I am a nice guy. You can’t be that bad a guy as you are from Texas and that is where my wife is from. If you don’t like revolver that’s cool just shoot what you shoot and enjoy. ✌
