  1. The Apex kit does nothing for DA but is designed to make SA heavier with a wall. This was achieved by increasing the height of the SA hooks on the hammer. The angles of the hooks and the sear are also changed to add weight in SA. Apex is trying to make a DA/SA CZ feel like a horrible stock striker gun. Apex needs to stick with what they do best and this is not it. OP if you desire more wall in SA you can achieve this by stoning material off of the hammer in front of the hooks where the sear rests in SA. When somebody figures out how to get the DA around 3.5lbs and set off any primer I'll be interested. Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  2. 91168 has aluminum grips (useless)(91154 rubber grips) steel guide rod (91154 use to be plastic) thin safetys (91154 has medium safetys) Hammer profile is different( does not mean the hammer hooks are better) 2 nickle plated 17rd mags ( 91154 has 3 18 rd mags)
  3. I'm very familiar with the Bob Vogel grip My grip is basically a Vogel grip except I keep my thumb on the frame right below the slide. I also contact the safety and slide stop with my support hand but have never had issues.
  4. I thought I had a high grip. You could file down your current slide stop or get the Rami that your talking about. Either is good to go for production. I would recommend using the Rami and have a pin with you. When you go to a major match go to the chrono booth before you start shooting and ask. I would recommend doing that the day before you shoot or at the very least first thing in the morning before first shots. Not to be an A$$ but if your bumping the slide stop up in recoil then you need to grip much harder. The gun should not shift in your hands at all.
  5. OP you can run any slide stop and even modify them but not sure about a pin. Red_Dot is right on contacting NROI but good luck getting a straight answer back from them.
  6. Whats your reasoning to go with a low profile or pin for a production gun? Pin will not lock the slide back. Uspsa does not require the slide to lock back on a empty mag however I dont know why you would not want it to lock back in production.
  7. Will this new version be coming to the USA soon?
  8. Great job John!! I look forward in hearing how things work out in a couple thousand rounds of testing.
  9. If the bullet is getting stuck in the lands it can cause accuracy problems but you say your .010 from the lands. I would try some different brands and profiles of bullets. The profile on most copper plated bullets will allow you to load longer oal. I use to use Blue bullets 147 round nose but the profile caused me to load down to 1.08 which is shorter than I would like in my tanfo. I switched to blue 147 flat point which allows me to load out to 1.15 oal but settled on 1.12-1.13 oal A lot of Tanfo owners will ream the barrel for longer OAL. If your a machinist you should have no problem doing this.
  10. For enough money they might. Toyota Dealer " You just need to trade in your Ford for a Toyota " But its easier to blame the equipment than practicing live & dry firing. OP What is your OAL? Tanfo requires a shorter oal than CZ
  11. CZ has nothing to do with your EAA Tanfoglio. CZ and Tanfoglio parts dont interchange other than a few minor parts. Worse case Patriot Defense is now selling match barrels for Tanfoglios.
  12. The only difference between the shadow 2 stop and the sp01 is the notch that holds it in. You could cut a new slot. Top left is sp01 Bottom right is shadow 2 Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  13. I'm sure someone will buy the shadow 2 slide stop minus a few dollars.
  14. The CZ sp01 and 75 series slides stop are the way to go. Note that the tanfoglio slide stop does not work in the shadow 2 It does work in a sp01 and and 75 compact Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  15. CZ shadow 2 slide stop Fits but has a gap on the leaver side Slide does lock back with empty mag But is not good with that gap. Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  16. CZ sp01/shadow 1 Slide stop Slide locks back with empty mag Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  17. CZ slide stops in my IFG stock 1 which uses the same parts as a stock 2 First pictures Cz75 standard frame not sp01 or shadow Slide locks back with empty mag Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  18. 9lb recoil spring should be the ticket. The slugishness should get better after a few thousand rounds. I'm not sure if the extremes come with a 1 piece or 2 piece sear. If 2 piece getting the 1 piece sear and reduced sear spring will get you closer to your desired DA/SA On my IFG stock 1 I have these parts. 1 piece sear (face angle and lower arm changed ) reduced sear spring reduced trigger return spring 18lb henning plunger spring ( recommend the 20lb) Stock heart shape hammer with reduced height hooks Henning extended lightweight firing pin ( may not be needed in your extreme) PD optimized firing pin spring PD bolo thats had major material removed to increase double action hammer throw. PD 15.5lb hammer spring trigger is 4lb 8oz DA----1lb 12oz SA 5 pull average from electronic lyman gauge
  19. @JayTac556 can get you the answer for safetys. He just switched to single sided.
