  1. Do you have 125gr .356 in stock? Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  2. The stock 1 weighs the same as the stock 2. I have a burris FF3 on a dovetail mount. Functionally no real advantage to having the slide milled. The benefit to milling is getting the optic low.
  3. Compare it to your old slide stop. Its probably binding at the catch location. The shadow 2 stop has a longer catch leg Shadow 2 stop SP01 stop
  4. It was mainly designed for the IDPA market. The stock 2 is the go to gun for USPSA production. I have the stock 1 myself and the only thing I dont like about it is the front and back strap. They should have checkered it like the stock 2 & 3 What are you planing for optic? Milled or sight plate?
  5. The stock 1 & 3 also fit in a CZ shadow 2 holster.
  6. You need to narrow down what you plan on using it for. The parrot is a over priced czechmate. The Parrot and the Czechmate are designed to use 9mm major ammo for competition. Basically 9mm +P+ Even in the Competitive shooting world different CZ's are best for certain disciplines and even divisions. Tell us what the intended use is going to be and the features you want.
  7. This explains everything. Allowed replacement parts includes the slide stop. Can be OFM or aftermarket part. Aftermarket means anything you can buy or make. The pin would be a no go because it's not technically a slide stop. Rami slide stop is definitely good to go. File down the stock slide stop would also be fine. Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  8. This really is the wrong post to be talking about all this CZ and Tanfoglio stuff. I suggest doing a post over in the CZ or Tanfoglio section.
  9. Price point Tanfoglio $1,100 CZ orange $1,600 Tanfoglio Only comes with 1 mag 141mm mags are going to cost around $85 each for the mag a extension and grams spring/follower henning flat face trigger $110 fire control group parts $100 Thumb rest $30-60 Tanfo with above parts and 3 141mm mags around $1590 CZ orange comes with 3 mags but needs extensions and spring/followers $60 to upgrade each mag with extension and guts. 141mm mags are going to cost around $95 each for the mag a extension and grams spring/follower CZ with 3 141mm mags $1780 CZ $1780 Tanfo $1590 The Tanfo is going to be $200 cheaper kitted out the same as the CZ It all depends if you like to tinker with your guns.
  10. Both are equal for parts. It really comes down to what features are more important to you. Check out these suppliers to see what options you have. Tanfoglio parts Patriot Defense Henning Ben Stoeger pro shop CZ parts Cajun gun works CZ-custom Ben Stoeger pro shop Armory craft
  11. The tanfoglio limited with thin grips will be good. The CZ tac sport orange with thin grips will be slightly smaller than the tanfoglio with thin grips. A tanfoglio with stock wood grips that it comes with will feel terrible for you. I would highly recommend Lok thin grips. The slide on a tanfo or cz is not hard to rack vs a glock they are slightly harder then a 1911 but with some dry fire you will not have any issues. Both the CZ and tanfo have front slide serrations that really help. The (shadow 2 ) slide is more difficult to grab because they changed the profile but with practice it wont be an issue.
  12. He is looking for a gun to shoot Limited major with.
  13. The tactical sport might be too large for you then. The Tanfoglio will need thin grips for you or maybe palm swells. The CZ orange might be perfect for you. I wear XL gloves so throw out what I said about grip in previous posts.
  14. You can't go wrong with either of them. CZ tac sport $1,150+- ++ Great trigger out of the box Longer sight radius ( 5.25" barrel) -- Fixed rear sight Small magwell ( needs to be upgraded) Odd checkering on front and back strap CZ tactical sport orange $1,600+- ++ Great trigger 5.25" barrel Adjustable rear sight Good checkering front and back strap Drilled for thumb rest ( comes with one) Better magwell than the tactical sport -- Only big thing is the price. For me the frame/grip area feels very cramped compared to the other two but that's a personal thing it might feel perfect for you. Tanfoglio limited $1,100+- ++ Heavy bull barrel Decent magwell to start with Predrilled for thumb support Great checkering on front and back strap Adjustable rear sight -- Shorter sight radius ( 4.75" barrel ) Trigger will need some parts to get decent Trigger will need $110 in parts and some polishing to get it close to the CZ. In the end it kind of a wash between them. If you want something that is ready to go out of the box the CZ tactical sport orange is the best option. If you like to tinker with your stuff and learn about your gun then the other two are perfect. It all comes down to what feels best in your hand. I can't help you with that. What feels best in my hand is the tanfoglio then the CZ tac sport Mags and accessories are going to be very similar in price. Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  15. I bought a rock island the first year I started shooting USPSA. For what it is its an okay gun. If I could do it over again I would have bought a CZ Tac sport or a Tanfoglio limited. The tac sport orange is also a good option but to me its not worth the extra $500 Both have plenty of aftermarket parts and mags are half the cost of 2011 mags and dont need to be tuned as much. CZ tac sports are no longer being imported so used or maybe find a dealer that would have one left. IFG will be importing some new tanfoglio models mid summer that look amazing and should be in the $1,200 range 2011's are great but by the time your done your going to be closer to $2k for a used one. If you want a steel grip $600 more. The best thing to do is when your at a local match ask some shooters if you can handle their guns at the safe table and see what feels best to you. Egro's are very important for newer shooters. Any of these guns will get you to grand master but you have to dry fire and live fire train. In reality the gun is the cheapest part of our sport even for guys that buy $6k custom builds When you get serious in USPSA and start traveling to major matches a back up gun will be a must so take that into consideration. Ideally you will want the same platform whichever you choose so your mags and gear will be the same.
  16. I would get a grade 8 washer. I've been using a fender washer and turn it every few thousand rounds. When seating the primer I give the handle two good pushes for extra insurance. If I do all of the above I crush federal primers if I'm not careful. Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
  17. Sorry Grumpyone I was just trying to explain to the OP how to get a similar trigger. I will stay off this post.
  18. Going off of what the guy in the video said and seeing the pictures of the parts they supply in the kit. Why dont you buy a kit and do review on it. Then Ill listen and maybe care about what you have to say.
  19. Not going to waste my money on that garbage. Just explaining to the OP how to get the same trigger for free minus a few minutes of stoning.
  20. Thanks for fixing the website
  21. I also load on a hornady lnl ap and found I had to tape a large washer to the base where the primer seater contacts the frame. This allows me to apply more force when seating the primer. I can get pictures later. I only use Winchester primers for matches. I have used tula, wolf and S&B but only for practice just to get rid of them.
  22. Your website does not show 91154. When I enter 91154 in the search bar it comes up with a mag release.
  23. I have no affiliation with this company nor have I used them yet.
  24. Now that 91154 is no longer instock that changes things. OP I would highly recommend going with a shadow 2 if the frame would work for you. Now you have alot of options for optic and slide lightening not just CZC. I really like the cuts that fire-4-effect is doing.
