  1. Try this. http://www.doublealpha.biz/fun_interesting.htm I had a hard time finding them too... even
  2. This video clip must be from the Ben Avery range in AZ. I shot a State match there in 2000 with the same kind of stages. Didn't really care for stages like that, and it's good that we don't see them in my neck of the woods. even
  3. When I started shooting IPSC in 1998, shooters had problem with GFL .40 S&W brass split and separate. But the brass that has been available since has worked just fine. I think the problem brass had GFL written in a small font on the case head. But the good brass came with GFL writtten in a larger font. even
  4. Actually, the guy in Brazil makes a 19 rnd S_I mag. I would have to see it before I believe that someone can make a 20 rnd mag. It would be impressive! To make 18 rnd SVI mags. just look at some previous post made by Skywalker. He has actually done more work than I. All I use is a Wolff spring with 11 coils, a SV comp. follower and a +1 pad. With those piss poor SPS mag bodies you can get 19! But reliability might or will suffer. Vince, the only reason I bothered to write “på norsk” was because I felt pretty sure that you would figure it out, otherwise it would have been a waste, right? BTW, I speak as much French as the people working at the McDonalds in Cavallion (France), speaks English, absolutely zero! Hope those of you who wants to, make it to WSXIV. I'll be there. even
  5. Julien, you can actually do it with a Dawson pad. even
  6. Vince, I know you are just the messanger, but I still don't understand what Dave is talking about Til informasjon så er jeg jævlig dårlig i fransk, så hvis du kan bruke norsk i fremtiden er det bedre even
  7. IPSC STD. Division You will need the 120mm SVI tubes and a basepad like the Dawson International. Trust me, you will need a really big hammer to make the 126mm tubes fit in the box. The same should apply for STI. So Vince, I do not understand what Dave is talking about. Besides I don't think Beven makes basepads for IPSC Std. He only makes pads where he can use his U-pin design, and they will not work because they are not angled. I get 18 rnds. in my SVI tubes. So does Mike Voigt in his STI tube using a pad he got from me. even

    Splits

Swede 04 Don't get to carried away with your splits. If you can do .19-.20 all the time, you will find a whole lot of other details that will improve your shooting more than shaving a few tenths off your splits. Movement comes to mind... When you start beating up on Ralf Jensen, you can start working on your splits again even
  9. Brian, don't forget the time you had a round in the chamber, but no mag in the gun. I've got it on tape in case you don't remember :-) even
  10. What would the sport of IPSC gain by lowering the minimum caliber and power factor? Attract new regions that are not allowed to have pistols in the calibers required at this time? Who would that be? even
  11. iron9, A 9mm IPSC STD will be available. I spoke with Milan Trkulja from the factory, and he told me it would only be available as a pistol at first. You can try spring and follower from either Glock 22/35 or HK USP .40 for max capacity. With your + pads you might be looking at 19+1! I know one of the Frankonia shooters used HK USP in his mags. A friend of mine has used Glock spring and follower with luck. even
  12. I prefer the fiber front sight, but the dot must be small. Last year just before the WSXIII I managed to break my Dawson fiber front sight, and had to use my old black one. This really made me shoot way slower than usual. even
  13. Can anyone tell what kind of gun set-up Rob, Phil and Taran used? I heard Eric complained about his IPSC Standard gun was not good enough for USPSA Limited even
  14. I need to know if anyone have done this, and if so how you did it. What kind of powder, bullet etc. even
  15. Julien, do you use the light or heavy one? even
  16. I shot a CZ 75 IPSC Standard for about 8 months in 2000. I never had a problem with this gun, except form the rear sight breaking. I shot somewhere around 11.000 rounds thru it. I never had a problem with it hurting my wrist, but a friend of mine had to go back to his Para. For various reasons I ended up with a SV early in 2001. It should not really be very violent with 175 PF ammo... even
  17. In Norwegian/På norsk Accuracy = Presisjon Power = Kraft Speed = Hurtighet Jeg regner med at det er flere der ut som hører hjemme her i norden, dere kan jo gi lyd fra dere even
  18. Never had a problem with Wolff springs. even
  19. Julien, I'm using Wolf springs cut to 10-11 coils and SV competition follower. In my SV mags, the 18th round fit very tight. It is possible to do a reload if you have a little time, but a change in a tight spot is not recomended. even
  20. Lynn, like Julien said, we play by the box rule... Julien, 19 in the SPS, too bad the mags where too soft. I constantly had to adjust the lips. even
  21. Julien, I could get 19 in the SPS mag I had. Only downside was the quality of the mag I'm planning on making some pads, but I don't know if they will be done before the Med Cup. even
  22. Julien, they are regular 120mm mags with a basepad that is a little deeper than the Dawson. I can stuff 18 in the mag with Dawson pad, but it's a little harder. Of all the 16 rnd stages we shot at the WSXIII I only reloaded once. That was the stage where we had to start with an emtpy and holstered gun. even
  23. Skywalker, how many rounds do you get in your .40 S&W mags? I can get 18 in my mags... even
  24. My vote goes to SV. I'm shooting one in .40 right now, and I'm waiting for an open blaster... even
