Last time I checked with Chuck at Shooter's Connection - he had plenty of Howard Smith tuned .40cal Mags in stock??? The 5 Mag Sets that is. I know they're not cheap, but they are the best!! Just re-adjust the die and run them all back through again to proper length - shouldn't take that long on the new 650!! I'd do it for you just to get my hands on a D 650 instead of my cheap Hornady loader!!

Lightning cuts in the slide require a heavier spring since some of the slide mass has been removed. I'd say a least a 14# an maybe even try a 16#. Sounds crazy, but that's quite a bit of weight off of the slide from stock. My 2 cents ...

Glock 34 for sure. More "legal" aftermarket parts and easy to polish up the trigger, striker, and sear with a dremel tool for an awesome smooth trigger pull. Stock barrel is not bad, but put in a Bar-Sto and it will shoot like a barn on fire!!

How fast can I pull the trigger on my S&W? Not fast enough to compete with it!! I've practiced with revolvers but just can't seem to get any faster??? Watch the videos of Jerry Miculek in action and it will make you want to put your Revolver down in shame. Eight (8) shots in 1 second and Twelve (12) shots - 6 shots/ a reload / and 6 more shots in 2.99 seconds??? How is that possible???? Some people are born with ability - I'm not!!! I know that he practices and has been doing it his whole life, but genetics have to play a role in his ability too!!!

I would contact Brazos and see what they can do to your existing grip to "fit" it to your hand. They are very good, but may be too busy building Custom Pistols to do your work in a timely fashion. It's worth a call though!
