    Disc Golf

I really like "disc golf" as well - I wish I had more time for it! A lot of college womenz here play it - great way to meet people, and a lot of fun!

    Indiana

Hi Rhino, No, I don't but I probably should (very nice range, IMO). I do a lot of shooting on some local farms. I do know some folks that shoot there though. Hi DougBarnes101, Yes, that is my ADBA American Pit Bull Terrier "Debo". My friend has a very nice Kennel and breeds them not far from where I live. Nice talking to you guys!
  3. I am not at all a fan of the "brakes" on AR15 type rifles. Most people want one just for looks, and there are better alternatives than that (I know, the "plain" barrel on an AR is just fugly).
  4. We are getting faster, but not nearly as fast as we would LIKE to be. With all of the new forums, new Industry partners, and new members, we have grown much faster than we can keep up with.
  5. AR15.Com Now we are so much more than just "Home of the Black Rifle". If nothing more, just a fun place to visit and make friends! Eric

    Indiana

I have lived in Indiana all of my life as well. Currently in W. Lafayette.
  7. Another vote for "The Exorcist". I saw it when I was pretty young, and it scared the crap out of me. EricE
  8. Were you able to fix the problem BrianH?
  9. The following was information is from Troy (our magazine guru) RE: your mag problem... " The mag in question is clearly out of spec. However, with a vice and some slow, gentle work, it would be a piece of cake to squeeze the mag into the proper dimension. The key is to go slow and re-measure often. You don't want to reduce the dimension any more than necessary. These types of problems are actually fairly common, and easy to fix. What is difficult (or impossible) to fix is when the mag body halves are welded together incorrectly, leaving the mag extremely wide or narrow, or causing one feedlip to be noticably higher than the other. I generally recommend tossing these unless you are in a situation where you can't replace them. In that case, do whatever you can to get the mag running, as you can't really make things *worse*. -Troy" Hope this helps. EricE
  10. The best looking (IMO), and highly effective muzzle breaks for post-ban Ar15's are the ones currently being made by Kurt's Kustom Firearms. Check out some of his stuff here: http://www.kurtskustomfirearms.citymax.com...e/page/8932.htm There are a lot of pics of his work in his discussion forums as well. The Cav Comp and Wilson breaks tie for second place. (Edited by erice at 8:21 pm on Oct. 13, 2002)

    The Exchange

Very interesting, Ghost Dog. I will have to look into this a bit more. Thanks! Eric
  12. Congrats GN! I wish I were that lucky... EricE
  13. If I were you, I would go to CNET.com, download & install the latest version of IE (6). This is just a "quick fix" - let me know if it does not work. EricE
  14. My attempt at writing a poem for Halloween back in 1999. It's not very good, but heck, I never claimed to be perfect. ========== Welcome Home A Bitter Rustling Breeze - Stir The Great Oak Trees. As Crisp Leaves Of Rusty Brown - Gracefully Spiral To The Ground. Seemingly Another Chill Autumn Night - Coal Black Sky –Moon Hangs Low And Is Very Bright. Body And Soul You Feel A Chill - When You Step Into The Shadow, Of The House On The Hill. This House Has Stood For Hundreds Of Years - And Has Been The Host of Many A Person’s Fears. Some Who Have Stayed There Have Heard Unholy Whispers In Their Ears… Others Who Have Stayed There – Have Simply Disappeared. There Is An Evil About This House That You Cannot Deny - Although It’s Not Visible To The Human Eye. Inside The Beautifully Decorated Halls - You Won’t See The Bloodstains On The Walls. For With The First Light Of Day - These And Other Horrors Will Slowly Fade Away. Some Of The Stained Glass Windows, Held By Lead And Tin - Hold Souls Of The Dead, Forever Trapped Within. The House Itself Holds No Demon Or Disciple Of Satan… It’s Evil Alone Leaves It Forsaken. Inexorably Entering The House - Being Drawn In… Thin Rays Of Light Struggle Against The Shadows Within. Entering This House Took More Courage Than You Ever Knew You Had - But However Courageous – The Decision Was Bad. Looking Out Of The Windows, Only Seeing The World In White And Black – Now Realizing That You Can Never Go Back. A Cold, Heavy Tear Trickles Down Your Transparent Face - And Falls To The Ground, Not Leaving A Trace. Welcome Home. © 1999 Tyler Durden ======= (Edited by erice at 12:00 pm on Oct. 13, 2002)
  15. Something is quite wrong here, and it escapes me. I will check with our "expert" on AR magazines and see what the problem is. Eric
  16. Cripes! You guys (and girls) rant like a buncha sissys
  17. Wow... I really liked the movie. It was much better then "Silence of the Lambs", IMO. Oh well, just my .02. EricE
  18. Well done, SIG Lady! I will see what I can come up with. Eric
  19. Thanks! No... heehee, I am not part of the "Mall Ninja" team. Although we DID give them a forum of their own, so they would have a place to play ;o) Also, if your company checks your surfing habits, you could also type in http://www.jobrelatedstuff.com and get there... some monitoring software picks it up, some does not. 20. Will do. We have an AR15 group purchase every year (so far). Also, we have done a group purchase on some Springfield 1911s. Eric
  21. Another I wrote... The girlz always like this one ;o) I Close My Eyes When I close my eyes, I can see you smiling… With your soft skin glowing - From the golden rays of the sun. Your elegant dark hair - Brushing gently on your petite shoulders… As a tepid, soft breeze - Invisibly elevates the ends of your hair. So divine and blissful you are - If only you could see yourself through my eyes… I reach out to touch your hand - Electrifying as our fingertips touch ever so delicately. Smooth skin that is warm and yielding to the touch – Close to you, the aroma of fresh spring flowers… I gaze into your lovely auburn eyes – Wondering if you realize how much this all means to me. Tenderly I wrap my arms around you – Hearts beating hard and fast… Barely able to keep conscious – As our lips gently touch for the first time. © 2000 Tyler Durden
  22. One of my personal favorites - I wrote a while back; was going through some tough times. LAST DANCE HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. AS WE GLIDE TOGETHER ACROSS THE POLISHED WOOD FLOOR. I’M SMILING AND YOU’RE SHINING – AS TOGETHER WE BATHE IN THE LIGHT OF OUR LOVE. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. THE MUSIC IS SOOTHING AND YOUR HAIR IS SOFT. YOUR ARMS AROUND ME AND MINE AROUND YOU – AN EMBRACE THAT WILL OUTLAST TIME. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. YOUR SMILE WARM LIKE THE SUN DRIES MY TEARS. PUSHES BACK THE DARKNESS – CHASES AWAY MY FEARS. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. YOUR SIMPLE WHITE DRESS WORN LIKE A GODDESS. I ONLY HOPE THAT YOU CONTINUE TO REMEMBER – ALL OF THE BEST THAT WE SHARED TOGETHER. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. YOU’RE TRYING SO HARD NOT TO SEE JUST WHAT HAS BECOME OF ME. I CAN’T STOP SMILING – IT’S ALL OVER AND I STILL LOVE YOU SO. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. ON MY KNEES JUST LONG ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU WONDER IF THIS ISIN’T SOME SORT OF JOKE IT’S TERRIBLE, AND I AM SORRY – I MADE SUCH A MESS OF YOUR PRETTY WHITE DRESS. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. THE DEEP SANGUINE STAINS COVER YOU, AND HAVE RUINED YOUR ELEGANT GARMENT. A LOOK OF SHOCK ON YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE – HERE COMES THE GROUND. HERE WE ARE –IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. THE SILENCE NOW IS COMMANDING. IN MY HEART I KNEW THAT IT WOULD END THIS WAY - FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. MY LAST WORDS “LOVE YOU” ECHOING THROUGH YOUR HEAD. AS YOU STARE IN HORROR OF WHAT YOU HAVE JUST WITNESSED – YOU DIDN’T THINK I COULD REALLY DO THIS. HERE WE ARE – IT’S OUR LAST DANCE. GAPING HOLE IN MY HEAD – AN EVER SPREADING POOL OF RED. YOUR IMAGE BEGINS TO FADE AS MY SPIRIT DRIFTS AWAY – TO FIND YOU AGAIN. © 2000 Tyler Durden
