Yea, the extra wide SV safeties are a good shelf/support. Helps with consistent grip placement too. Always preferred them.

Heat for sure. I touch the tip of my soldering gun to it for a few seconds and it will break lose. If you don't use red loctite it will loosen and say bye bye. On the finish, maybe try sandblasting?

I must admit that I love heavy. Lots of genuine arguments for lighter guns but there is something special about a 50+ ounce steel gun. Brass all the way for me.

Saw one locally this week. .40 isn't for me anymore but it was gorgeous.

If any of you guys are on Instagram you can now see the grips on the Patriot Defense page. I think they posted the thins on the page and possibly the palm swell in their story which may have expired. They have been using one of my A01 for the fitting work and will be sending it back to me soon with new grips. Check them out and send them a note if you are wanting some and the first batch once available may sell out fast. They are of incredible quality!

Agreed! I have been asking Stuart about that for a awhile. It will be done some day. They have a threaded barrel for the A01 but it’s a bushing barrel. We just need a Bull barrel and a comp! I already have the 170mm mags that run flawlessly.

Grips are done! Should have my gun back next week and will post info and pics! There will thin and palm swell options in brass, copper, and aluminum. The brass palm swell bring it to just under 58oz with optic and empty 140mm magazine.

I would say April/May will be spot on. Time goes slowly doesn't it?

They are being delivered now right at 12-13 months.

Yes. Just about done. They are working out a final details around the extended paddle magazine release. Then I should be able to share more.
