  1. Thank you, I did find that Bushmaster does have a .040 taller sight also. Going to order one tomorrow, was hoping to also a series 80 shim for my 1911 and order it from the same place, but, you can't have everything.
  2. Exactly Southpaw, there use to be a couple of places to get them, Brownells and I think Bushmaster. I can't find them and Bushmaster isn't responding yet?
  3. I'll be using a 100 yd zero, my rear sight is a MAGPUL MBUS, standard 55 gr 193's. Problem is, I can not raise the front sight anymore without fear of it coming off.
  4. I know this has been addressed, but, I changed my A1 upper for a flat top style. I do not have enough range to adjust my front sight for the proper point of aim. I need something taller, pretty sure I've seen something out there, but can not find it! Help
  5. I to shot an XDM 5.25, but than tried a 1911, the trigger is the difference for me. I will never get rid of my XDM.
  6. I have been running STI from day 1, no issues, so I can not imagine why MBX will not work, I know others who run both in the STI pistols with no issue. I will ask my buddy to try one of his MBX in my Pro Match, will let you know what happens?
  7. will probably use a Wolff, just because that's what I've always used.
  8. Mine has issues with Xtreme and Berrys if crimped too much, I use .423 and it doesn't leave a mark on the bullet. I switched back to jacketed.
  9. Well, finally got a reply from RIA, 18#, so think I'm going to try a 17# spring.
  10. I am looking for the weight of the main spring on a RIA Pro Match 40, 51738, any help will be appreciated.
  11. What about the Taylor Freelance magwell? It will probably not be legal for IDPA either.
  12. With some cleaning an lube, the trigger settled down, right at 3 lb, will drop that and should be on track. Just for knowledge, the Timney 610S will fit.
  13. I have one, in the process of working up a load. I have shot some loads for my 308 ar, and it liked them pretty well. Learned a lesson, don't over tighten the stock bolts, will bind the bolt. I am using FC cases, SMK MK 175, WLP, and ar comp. I got mine w/out the vortex, put on a Nikon, but wish I'd stuck to Vortex. It is what I have on the others, but are PST, really good glass. People tried to talk me into other brands, but am very happy with the performance, and with a little work, it will shoot as well as my 24" AR.
  14. There is a local smith here Montana, I am down to a 13lb springs with reduced loads.
  15. Shot the MVP LC this weeekend, and after breaking in the barrel, I put some loads from my AR 308 thru it and it shot very well, right at 1" moa. I am sure with a load built for it, it will do better. The only complaint I have, is the trigger doesn't know if it is a single ot two stage. Most of the time, it broke very clean, but some of the time, when pulling the trigger I would hear and feel a click, and then pull a little more before the trigger would let off. The first time it happened, I thought I had a bad primer, when I looked at the round, there was no primer strike. Tried again and the round fired. I am going to contact Mossberg.
  16. Put the SPX sights on it, fixed my issue
  17. yes that is what I was looking at, didn't see the date on it.
  18. I've looked everywhere on Mossbergs' site, nothing.
  19. I am interested in an open gun, but am hearing things about the New style gun that will obsolete what is available now? Any input on this?
  20. Anyone know what the holes in the front of the stock are for on a Mossberg MVP LC? There are three on each side towards the front of the stock.
