  1. Well the stage description could also state to start empty. That will depend on the match director Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Looks straight forward to me, and doesn’t have any restrictions on length of magazine or capacity of magazine, only the number of rounds that can be loaded IN the magazine. 6.6.3.3.3.2 No more than 8 rounds may be loaded into the magazine at any point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I would say no since most rules I’ve seen require .308 minimum Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Have always just “tapped” my barrel to make the POI same as POA for the slugs.
  5. Thanks for all the comments, the match went well with only 30 shooters and 3 squads. Made a note to make the squads 8 or so for the next one. We had a total of 7 stages and they averaged out to about an hour a piece to run 10 shooters through. I did change a few of the WSB’s and some of the targets placements. It was a LOT of work and grateful we had a heck of a team helping with set up and tear down. My next one has not been scheduled yet but will be 5 stages max and have less targets. It was a great learning experience for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just ran one again this last weekend with shotgun, got 3 doubles, 2 fell off and got 2 hits on the last 2. 5 shots and 10 plates...it was sweet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. No doubt it would be fun if it was a one day or two day match max. I signed up but had to withdrawal; just couldn't get the time off for five days. Have a Good Match if you are shooting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That's a one day match right there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. My mistake...should have been off the clock, thanks I agree, might be changing that up a bit. Only a couple bays we have would enable that type of reset. Most of them are not very deep and kind of narrow but will see if i can move a few things around. Really appreciate the feedback
  10. Handloaded 168gr Hornady BTHP Match over CFE223 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Download restrictions... here is the third stage Bring It Home.docx
  12. Looking for critics...helpful ones that is. I have stepped up to help out our local club for the next 3 gun match we will have. I have been given free rein except for including 2 mandatory classifiers and have a pretty good selection of targets to pull from. I attached my first drafts and looking for thoughts on the designs. 13. Love my vortex 1500. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have one and it's a great rifle. I too got mine with a heavy discount code but well worth the full price IMO. Shooting my 168 gr BTHP loads out and getting a .5 MOA group out of it at 100 and 200 yards. 1st picture is a 1/2" dot at 100 and the 2nd is a 1" dot at 200. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Dang hate to hear this but at least you are following it up with another. Sounds like a good one not to miss!
  16. I sent an email to their contact on the website a few of weeks ago asking the same question and have not received a reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Any spots left open for the multigun match? I can't seem to find the right website to view the information; it keeps taking me to the longest shot comp page.
  18. Awesome match, thanks to all the sponsors and all the staff! Can't wait till next year! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. You probably wasn't the only one that felt that way but I see it as safety is safety, either it is ok or not. I am not 100% on all the rules but have been put into situations where I was forced to DQ someone by a simple unsafe act but he came back and thanked me for doing it. It is easy to fall into complacency, just a couple of weeks ago I was reminded by a brand new shooter not to have my finger on the trigger when reloading...it just happens Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. I have never seen this either, remove in holster and bag...yes. Not over the shoulder and walking around with it, everywhere I have shot this would have gotten you asked to leave.
  21. I don't think the rifle powder die does that like the pistol. I have found from my own experience and many other comments that the "m" die is the best. Just have to be mindful that it can come loose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I have had some of this but it was due to the die working loose. All cases should be the same max length after coming out of the trimmer so make sure you have set the "M" die up for the max length and check it for tightness every few hundred rounds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. The lines are not supposed to light up. There might be a bit of glare from the higher powers but not solid Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
