  1. Just found my notes. TS slide with sights and firing pin but without recoil spring sleeve was 13.8 oz. TSO slide was 14.1 oz due to heavier rear sight. So the weight loss is about 0.8 oz. Makes it lighter than S2 slide.

    cz 75 sp-01 magwell

Yes and yes. Magwell is good for my hand and the shop ships fast. It might take few weeks to overseas. Actually I prefer the brass version over aluminium (http://www.ipscstore.eu/en/cz/1750-cz-brass-magwell-for-cz-75-sp-01-2000000017501.html).
  3. Thanks. Is that with sights?
  4. That is nice, how much weight is reduced?
  5. To me it looks like only two slide sides are milled. Milling the top of slide would affect front sight mounting.
  6. I thought that with +1 base pad and stock rear sight a TS or CM will not fit into the IPSC box. Did you shorten the rear sight?
  7. All CZ sights are windage adjustable with hammer and for me it is all I need. There is no fully adjustable IPSC production complaint rear sight.
  8. CZ puts a little drop of tread locker under the sight. Use some heat, but beware not to ruin the painted slide. Also some good force is needed.
  9. You can hurt your heel of hand into lanyard loop while reloading.
  10. Now the pistol info is on CZUB site http://www.czub.cz/en/produkty/pistole/compact/cz-p-10-c.html
  11. P-10 C is mostly a carry gun. It is difficult in the EU to get a license for such use. I think CZ has much bigger market for this pistol in the USA.
  12. P-10 C is rumored to hit shelves in Europe at 2018. USA might get them sooner.
  13. Check TS Czechmate in Limited configuration.
  14. The Shadow 2 supply has been very limited everywhere, so no need to big envy. Many CZ USA, CZC and CGW models and parts are not available elsewhere. Be happy with it. Few all black Shadow 2 pistols have arrived to Finland. I got a change to handle one. The grip and serrations are very good in hand. The gun was quite front heavy, but in a way I liked it. I also liked the new narrow top slide design and sights. The DA pull was nice. Unfortunately the SA pull was the worst I have ever felt in CZ's. It was long and creepy. Maybe it feels different when actually shooting it. Few owners here have already had their SA pull customized by gunsmith.
  15. CZ don't sell spare frames, so it should be more expensive.
  16. Barrel rise is about the inertia of mass under momentum laws. You can work on the moving part (slide) or the non-moving part (frame), or both. Low mass high speed short stroke slide gives shortest time frame for the barrel to rise (table cloth trick analogy). Here you can see what happens when the stoke is long: Unfortunately high speed also means high energy and it will be hard for the parts (egg & car suspension analogies). Just pick your goal.
  17. To my understang longer stroke means longer cycle time means more barrel rise. It works like in the table cloth trick: Don't try to do it slowly.
  18. What is the benefit of increased stroke? I thought as little as possile moving mass and stroke would be the goal.
  19. I've used 9mm TS magazines with extended CZC pads and factory followers without problems. The combo had increased capacity. CZC followers gave me malfunctions all the time.
  20. CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Orange fits easily in the IDPA box. Markings on the slide are same as in the regular Shadow, so the Orange is only a variation of base Shadow.
  21. Most of the time new products are great, but there is a small chance something need to be fixed. It is wise to start with small number of guns and ship them close. It makes possible fixing costs smaller. After enough confidence is build you should start delivering bigger markets. Early announcements makes people save their money and not consume them to competitors products. I don't like waiting eather, but it can be very profitable marketing.

  23. Same thing in Finland.

    TS recoil spring

My CM is build in 2010. Later models might have heavier springs. Nominal 10 lb: Measured in CM 10.0 lb, free length 139-143 mm, outer diameter ø9.4-9.6 mm, 36 coils. Nominal 11 lb: Measured in CM 12.3-13.1 lb, free length 126-130 mm, outer diameter ø8.9-9.3 mm, 30-31 coils. Nominal 13 lb: Measured in CM 12.7-13.7 lb, free length 125-128 mm, outer diameter ø8.8-9.1 mm, 29-30 coils. All springs have ø1.0 mm wire.
