  1. We'll see, CZ UB weights have never been very accurate.
  2. In Czech CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow list price is 22990 CZK and Shadow 2 is 27900 CZK. Increase is 21%.
  3. Safety is not same as in the first IWA photo. Both are ok for me.
  4. Is the extended firing pin really legal for IPSC Production? I haven't noticed it in any CZ UB factory made guns and neither is it provided as an CZ upgrade part. CZC is the only place selling it and they are claiming it to be CZ part, but that can be a mistake.

    CZ TS Orange

I live in Europe. Here the pistol has been available for several months. Mine arrived a week ago with some other CZ's. The build quality of TS Orange was great. Very tight fittings everywhere. The trigger was better than in my CM. The grip was as comfortable as CM's grip. The massive dust cover is lighter than what it looks. The adjustable sight has a clever design. The spring is pushing moving part down. I think it could last longer than traditional design. The thumb rest can be turned 180 degrees if you want grap more forward with your support hand. Unfortunately I didn't find any use for this gun between my CM and Shadow Orange, so I already sold it to a caring home.
  6. The rail must be same width as at SP-01 Shadow. This means the frame is going be narrower. It would be nice to see these shipping before season starts.
  7. It will be legal in SSP when CZ makes them at least 2000 in year.
  8. Thanks, those pictures tell same story.
  9. Thank you ohsevenflhx. To me it seems very clear that in this case the slide stop has been broken from fatigue created by backwards moving barrel. The flexural stress has broken the pin in the middle of it. The crack will start from yield side of bending. Here it is barrel moving out of battery. I've also seen different types of failures, so there is also other reasons for them. The easiest way to make slide stops last longer is to polish the pin. The crack will start from small defect and when polished there is nothing to start with. This is also the reason why there is huge difference in how long slide stops last. Low cost dye penetrant test can be used to locate fatigue cracks.
  10. Could you take a picture of the break line so that it can been seen with the lever on back (not covered with fingers). I would like to see how the start of fracture is oriented. This could tell which slide direction is critical.
  11. The CZ used to ship TS's with spare slide stops. The new TS Orange is fitted with thin clear plastic buffer and has no spare slide stops. They must believe this combo is durable enough.
  12. Info and picture is now gone from the IWA site. I hope they are just updating or something and this is not cancelled.
  13. It is not even officially represented yet. Previous models have taken about one year from intro to shop.

  15. TS rear sight set screw is M5 and it is 4 mm long. Factory code is 309913005004 and link to shop http://www.shop-cz.com/rear-sight-slide-screw-cz-75-ts/d-71651/ . Edit: Link corrected.
  16. CZ will represent the new Shadows 2 at IWA 2016. Look photo and little more info at http://www.iwa.info/en/ausstellerprodukte/iwa16/product-9588925/cz-shadow-2
  17. Disco doesn't cure bad fitting between sear and hammer. Disco is for the DA trigger pull and sear/hammer is for the SA pull.

    CZ TS Orange

TS Orange adds to basic TS: - Hand fitted and polished barrel - New barrel design (link area?) and more durable material - Hand fitted slide to frame - Black frame - Enhanced Czechmate-style grip and triggerguard - Beefier dust cover - Thumb rest - Competition hammer - Trigger job - ø1.0 mm fiber optic front sight - Hight adjustable rear sight (not sure about the .40 model) - Al grip panels - Al magazine pads x3 - Large case (same as with Czechmate) This not for the builders, there nothing left to desire . I think it would worth of the additional price. Mine should be coming in few weeks.

    CZ TS Orange

Why is Tanfoglio better? Have you tried both?
  20. You haven't stepped on them yet. There is always a limit what quality magazine can withstand abuse.
  21. Thanks for the info. The CZUB thin checkered Al grips are not normally called aggressive, because they are not and could be confused with CZC thin and thick Al agressive checker grips.
  22. And Shadow Orange ships with aluminium base pads.
  23. TS used to come with recoil buffers. Is this changed?
  24. My CM is made in 2011. Newer ones might have different recoil springs. CM's slide is lighter than Shadows', but Shadows has shorter stroke.
  25. That doesn't make sense. CZ 11 lb spring has ø1.0 mm wire and 29 effective coils. CM spring has same wire but 34 coils, so it is lighter.
