  1. I've been using a #13 for 124 grain handloads and a #11 for 147 grain. I didn't see any miracles but definitely a gain in recoil control. I think this is going to depend on the load used. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I received some 147 and 124 bullets. I worked up some loads and chronod them at the range. I found out what everyone was saying. It looks like the sweet spot loads are about .2 less than my go to loads for plated. Very impressed with the accuracy I'm getting with the blue bullets.
  3. Red is not my favorite color. I prefer blue and have had some success with the blue bullets recently. I'm going to do more testing between the two and go with the better bullet. I'll live with the red if I get the accuracy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. With what else done to it aside from the recoil spring? 13 was pretty gross but people are supposed to be able to make it work with a lightened striker spring and/or slide. I have the apex comp kit installed which includes the competition striker spring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That's what I figured, thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Do the make one for the m&p pro? And does anyone know if that would be uspsa production legal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Received my order of the 124 9mm from acme. Loaded up 20 each with 231 and titegroup. The groups with 231 were phenomenal. Titegroup was pretty good but not as tight. Chronod the other 10 rounds. It will be interesting to see what the numbers say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Green is easier for me to pick up as well. I actually like the way the red looks more but found it harder for me to pick up quickly. As others have said though try as many as you can, the rods are not that expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Nick, I just started shooting uspsa production a few months ago. I can relate to seeing all of the custom open and limited guns. I sometimes get jealous when a person doesn't have to reload through a COF. I like to acquire toys and I'm having a hard time telling myself to just focus on production for right now. 10. I've been loading and chronoing blue bullets lately so I'll be interested to see the comparisons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Ordered 500 124 rn 9mm to try out. I really wanted to get some 147 rn but all I saw on the website was 147 fn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Bowen has me convinced that these have to be tried. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. You know you're a prodigious poster when someone is worried when they haven't seen you post in a bit! Sarge is local to me as well but haven't seen him since last month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thermo, I run an m&p pro and use the 13 with my 124 loads and the 11 with my 147 loads. Recoil is much better with both than the stock and I've had no issues with my cci primered hand loads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. What is everyone using for recoil springs on their light 147 loads? I just bought non captured guide rod for my m&p. Bought a 13lb and an 11lb. Spring. Figured the 13 may be good for my 124 and the 11 for 147. I haven't had a chance to get to the range with them. Anyone have thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I'm set to receive both some 125 and 147 RN blue bullets in the mail today. I've been loading and chronoing mostly plated (berrys and extreme) up until now but wanted to give the coated bullets a chance. I'm interested in any information out there as to how the coated (and especially blue bullets) are with load data related to plated or FMJ. I'll be working them up starting low but any information is great as far as experience you all have. Do they normally work with your other plated load data or are they usually have to be loaded lower/higher etc.
  17. Basepads came in, easy to install. I couldn't be happier with them. Got them all numbers and now no more m&p basepads lip to worry about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I assume the kkm barrel has better accuracy than the factory. Is it that big a difference? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ended up going with Dawson precision .100 fo front and .125 fixed rear. So far so good other than the front install being a real bear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I do feel like I'm starting to develop some tendinitis as well. It's a big Difference when you have to make essentially 8 pulls to produce one complete round. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Congrats Santini, I think you're going to be a happy man. I started reloading a year ago with a cheap lee turret press. It has served admirably but I'm getting the itch to step it up to a Dillon 650. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I wear mine in the front for production. Nothing else up there to get in the way and I've never had an issue hitting it or anything like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Have used the arsenal combo since I started and it has worked just fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. For those of you that have gone with the Dawson adjustable rear and .100 front fo, are you finding that they work for you in matches? Just started uspsa with my m&p pro and I'm thinking the stock fronts are too wide. Have also been thinking that the adjustable rear would be great for tweaking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I'm thinking about changing out the sights on my m&p pro. It seems like the fo front is too wide. Thinking about going with .100 front and .125 rear but still figuring out what is ideal combo for uspsa comp. also trying to decide on brands ( 10-8, Dawson, warren/sevigny, etc) welcome all comments Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
