I agree with you jtrump. I use tg and n320 for my .40 competition loads. They are both soft shooting at around 169-170 pf. Tg is much cheaper but burns hotter and dirtier. Tg is also easier to find for me locally and I usually have to buy online to get the n320. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been using n320 and have not seen any smoking with the coated bullets Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is the one thing I dislike about the blue bullets. It seems when you open up the package at least one of the bags is broken and they are everywhere (besides the blue smudge) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Bowen, I'm using lee dies as well so I just need to figure out the cause. I'll walk through some of the issues you mentioned.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Once I was having problems took lee powder bell die apart, walla, bell was upside down from factory, wasn't a problem with jacketed, sure was w/lead.lol That's something to look at, I haven't had any trouble loading jacketed or plated. Seems like you would know pretty quick in that scenario but it's worth a look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bought some of the 230 gr acmes and I'm having shaving issues on some. I know they are 452 but not sure why some are doing and others go in like butter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I started out using berrys plated but wasn't thrilled with the accuracy. Started following some of bowenbuilts posts and tried both acme and blue bullets (aje turned me on to those after seeing him tear up some stages). Right now through trial and error I'm set on blue bullets in 147 gr 9mm and 180 gr in 40, both using vvn320. For 124 gr I actually prefer the acme lipstick bullets over titegroup. I'm sold on the blue bullets. Outside of the smurf blue on the fingers I couldn't be happier. I'm using 147 gr 9mm for competition over vvn320 and it crazy accurate. I'm going to have to up my orders to get the better packaging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That etr load grouping is some outstanding shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm still testing and I'm down between acme and the blue bullets. Regardless of color preference, if there is a clear performance winner I'll be shooting those. Even if they do look like lipstick. Ha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love everything about the acme bullets except for the color. Dumb I know but I'm just not a big fan of the red. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Forgot to add that they were a little pricey but for those having trouble finding it anywhere else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I noticed today that the cabelas website had quite a few pistol powders in stock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I recommend the roam2. Cheap, good quality video, easy to use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New to reloading, what to buy besides the press?

I started with the lee turret and keep thinking about moving up to a Dillion. But the lee turret has worked so well that I have a hard time switching and justifying the cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I use bladetech belt, holster, and pouches. I love the bladetech pouches but kinda wish I would have gone with one of the pouches that can be used for a variety of mags with spacers. I feel like I'm going to be spending more money as I move to different classes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been hooked on frog lube since the first time I tried it. It seems to provide good lubrication and makes cleaning so much easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Adam, It sounds like I'm running the exact same setup on my m&p except still using the factory barrel. I think I will check out the Wilson combats based on your experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where are you finding ram shot zip or did you just have a good supply? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Biloxi has the best advice. If you have to have work done on your eyes make sure your eye dr is a gun person! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My preference is a .100 fo front with a .125 blacked out rear. Mine are Dawson precision but there are many good manufacturers. I think that setup allows for a great mix of speed and accuracy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If only 310 or 320 could be found. I'm having a difficult time with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you using the #13 for both 124 and 147 loads? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
