  1. I'm the MD and I'm willing to allow it. I just don't want to do anything that's not ok with HQ.
  2. Is anyone running PCC in their USPSA matches yet? Can we legally do so?
  3. I must have gotten lucky because the two 9mm Trojans that I got from Dawson have been almost GLOCK like in their reliability. I load using S&B SPP, 147gr Ibejiheads with either Universal, Unique, or Titegroup, and have had NO problems at all. I put almost 20k rounds through one last year and am on pace to put that many on my new one this year.
  4. if that was the case, look at SS nationals and look at results, and who in top 16 was shooting what, you will find your answer Good point. It does seem like SS minor is competitive at the regular area and sectional matches though.
  5. Another vote for Dawson. I use my Lula loader to unload them if I have to unload them.
  6. The only disadvantage I see with shooting SS minor is the classifiers. If your goal is to move up in class shooting major is probably easier.
  7. I don't know about that. A friend has the PM-9 and I have a Trojan - they seem pretty comparable. Function wise I'd say it's even - his gun might be (definitely is) prettier.
  8. seems to me that's what it's like around here. Maybe we're doing it wrong. Look at it this way. How many millions of gun owners do we have in this country? How many shoot competitions? Less than .0003% of gun owners shoot USPSA in this country. how many bicycle owners do we have in this country? how many race bicycles? how many car owners do we have in this country? how many race cars? how many people have feet in this country? how many run track and field? This forum needs a "like" function.
  9. No, I don't think so. A hard chrome Trojan is right at $1500 with CRP package from Dawson. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  10. No, I don't think so. A hard chrome Trojan is right at $1500 with CRP package from Dawson.
  11. I second that. I have three Trojans that I got from Dawson Precision with their CRP package and they all run great.
  12. None. Could actually be beneficial. But they should be scored separately.
  13. 50 of them out there together gets kind of sporty tho...
  14. Ok....I've read most of your posts and I'd like to think you are just a beginner with no real knowledge of the scene, but with that dickish ignorant response now I'm leaning towards you're just a complete troll. If by chance I'm wrong and you aren't a complete troll, you may want to consider reading about 10 times more than you're posting, because the stuff you are saying is beyond ridiculous. Perhaps you should start by looking up what a bill drill is instead of posting what you think is a bill drill from super tactical hands forward start position. For Christ's sake, I can read the title of the video and know it isn't a bill drill. 2x3=6
  15. I think he didn't shoot enough. Watch it again.
  16. I have run at least 10k of them through my stock STI Trojan 9mm. They work great for me.
  17. Area 7 accepts their own members first and then fills the rest of the match a week later with those who are not from Area 7. Area matches should definitely favor shooters actually in the area. I'm not disagreeing, I was just pointing it out as an example.
