  1. Sent my payment last Monday 4/5/2004 via snail mail. Got home from work yesterday and my copy had arrived. From my first time through it it appears to be a great resource. I will need to clean out the garage to get the 30' required but that is minor thing. (And I was going to have to clean it out anyway ha ha) Steve thanks for the great effort.
  2. Chuck does rule! I ordered 6 Chip McCormick 10 round mags from him next day they show up in the UPS. Next I ordered a Safariland inner and outer belt. Same thing they show up in the UPS the next day. I know it's not that far from KY to Indy but to take the time to be sure the orders go out the same day shows one heck of a great customer service policy. GO CHUCK!
  3. Jeeper, I agree with you 100%. Time doesn't change people just move their clocks. If they want to have more time at the end of the day just get up earlier.
  4. Happy Birthday! Hope it's a great one!
  5. We know that Rhino wasn't bass fishin' and drinking beer in Illinois yesterday because we all know how Rhino feels about Illinois. He wouldn't be caught dead in Illinois
  6. I have loaded several thousand 185 grainers using Clays and I haven't had a bit of problem with it metering on the 550. It seems to hold a charge weight real well. Anyway this is my experience with Clays.
  7. Just bought 8000 Precision Bullets (6000 185's and 2000 230 grainers) both were the same price per thousand so I imagine their 200 grain would be the same. With shipping to Indiana they came to about $51.00 per thousand. They work great in my Colt. Less smoke, No leading of the barrel the only thing until they get their new casting operation up and running better order early because they were running about 12 weeks to ship. But hey they are worth it to me.
  8. Rhino, I will bring the digital camera if your are going to shoot all the stages from the concealment of a raincoat! By the way you do remember that this is USPSA not IDPA right? See you Sunday!
  9. I would like to vote for a rules change. If someone hits hard cover with the 50 BMG Handgun and completes the entire course of fire I say he shold get the points. We all know there ain't alot of hard cover that a 50 won't penetrate! Erik this was a great review!
  10. Compared to 50,200 my 8,000 bullets looks like a real piker.
  11. I would suggest springing for the roller handle. This will make long reloading sessions so much easier. I believe the roller handle should be standard equipment.
  12. Came in last night from pistol league and there was 8,000 45 caliber bullets setting on the front porch. Looks like I will be limbering up the press and manufacturing ammo for the season's shooting. Glad they got here when they did as I am down to my last 400 . This ought to keep me occupied for a while.
  13. Same as most of the posts above. Pul the whole tool head and with a large funnel in place...well you know the rest.
  14. Dave, Would you mind posting the link where you found these. I have found 1/4 scale targets but 1/3 would be nicer than having to get out the calculator. 1 foot same as 1 yard. Thanks
  15. A U. S. medic was driving down the road in Iraq and came across a wounded Marine laying on one side of the road and a wounded Iraqi laying on the other side of the road. He went up to help the Marine and asked him what happened. The Marine explained the as he was patroling the road he spotted the Iraqi and shouted at him that "I must kill you for Sadam Hussein, Ude and Koose (sp) Hussein and the oppression of the Iraqi people." The medic asked what happened then and the Marine told him that the Iraqi had shouted back "I must kill you for people like Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Charles Schummer." The medic asked the Marine what happened then and the Marine said "We were standing in the middle of the road shaking hands when a truck hit us."
  16. If we are talking about indoor ranges it should have good lighting and ventilation.
  17. Happy New Year to everyone and their families and friends from Morgantown, Indiana. Wishing everyone the best
  18. While not nearly as eloquent as Skywalker I would like to wish our host, all the moderators and members a Very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful and Prosperous New Year. Wishing all the best for everyone.
  19. I am not having problems but I ordered 8000 bullets about three weeks ago also. When I spoke to them on the pnone they told me they could ship the 230 gr round nose right away but the 185 gr swc would be about the middle of Jan. I told them to hold everything and ship it all at once. They told me they were extremely busy and the only run bullets of a certain size and caliber at a time. I don't understand not being able to get ahold of them on the phone. Everytime I have called I have been able to speak to someone. Hope this helps somewhat.
  20. I love that my wife is out of the hospital and at home and doing well. I love this country. I love the new friends that I have made this year shooting and on this forum. I love that while my life ain't perfect it's pretty da-n good
  21. I hate that the wife is in the hospital. I hate it that the doctor actslike she is doing you a favor in treating your family member and is too busy to explain what is going on with her treatment. I hate it that I have to go to work instead of being able to stay with my wife. On the other hand I am very happy that she is getting better and may be able to come home today.
  22. Rhino, You said a mouthful, man. Shooting with Darrel and Tony and the rest of the guys was great. They made everybody feel right at home. It's to bad the town of Veedersburg felt like the needed to expand their sewage plant and took over the range.
  23. Best Wishes to your wife and our prayers are with you and your family.
  24. I use the Chip McCormick Power Mags and they work great in my Colt Govt model.
