Absolutely. The only way it grows is more clubs and more matches which means more volunteer time. That doesn’t necessarily lead to growth either.

I was an MD up until this year. I could hold 84 shooters with the staff I had. I would fill matches in under ten minutes. Typically it would be 3-5. My phone would be unusable during the registration window opening from all the emails coming in. id typically see 115-130 shooters registered and 30-40 waitlisted. id have people beg to be able to shoot. Very telling stat. I had a policy that if you showed up at 7 am to help me finish setup I’d let you shoot. One person took me up on that in five years.

I don’t think I’d trust it either. Don’t those posts act as a sort of boss for the optic to sit on too? I’d think they need to be there to help recoil force

This is the toughest part. We’ve got guys like this who are just truly a talent above the GM scale. I’ve shot with some GMs that are unreal and then they go to nationals and get absolutely destroyed by the supers. It really makes you think either the gm bar needs raised or there needs to be a new class for the guys like sailer and nils etc

I totally get it. I was just being snarky. No matter how much someone says they just want to shoot it for fun there is always a competitive slant to it. It’s not about shooting it it’s about shooting it competitively. Most won’t say that though. in still waiting for a tactical Timmy division that allows drop legs and all that stuff

Hey everyone says 2011s with slide mounted dots. That’s the ask right? It’s not so those 9mm minor 2011s can be competitive. Just so they can be shot outside of open right?

It’s the slippery slope. They get one thing and then continue to want more. All the discussions on here were talking about 2011s in carry optics and never discussed mag wells too. Now it’s magwells

I don’t think that’s ever been in question doesn’t mean some don’t like to buy new guns in the hopes of performance improvements. I’m in that camp for sure.

Thank god you said this. These guys can shoot anything. I’ve watched super squad guys pick up random guns and shoot like they have 100k pulls on it. Some people are just better and those examples are cases where they can shoot anything and be better.

Let them game it and don’t say anything. It’ll cost them more in the mental game than if you give them direction. Shoot it as the rule book calls and let them think about it

Limited Minor is what triggers that. My guess it was done on the admin side. Most of the four software has a way to change certain phrases to other phrases as a way to censor.

Yeah I’m not worried another that at all. If it’s four months I get to shoot it this season probably. Otherwise it’ll be there next season

Limcat gave me 3-4 months in June. I’m quickly catching up on my 4 month mark so we will see if it’s 4 or 6.

Staccato does not have a competition model. They stuck a knife in the competitive worlds back when they went to be timmies and started chasing gov contracts. That’s why they want the divisions to change to allow their guns now

The kestrel is 299? That’s double the cost of an amg and the go button is on the front with other buttons I don’t like that. amg pocket pro ced my least favorite is the pact timer. I didn’t like the responsiveness of the button or the size of the unit. it’s very tough to beat the amg right now
