  1. lol if you want to join the confusion try '2011 enthusiast' on FB.
  2. Yeah they are heavy! any feedback about the SVI? were you happy with it other than the price?
  3. Reviving this old thread! Awesome pistol! Wondering if the user who posts this is still carrying it. cheers
  4. 3.5 320 in my Aussy stock II makes 136 pf. tested it yesterday, same ammo in both regular lenght and aussy. aussy makes 25 ft fps more with same ammo. Unrelated, still undecided on recoil spring. Leaning towards 6 but find the 8 works just as well. More testing on that to come, however.... you might see me asking questions in the 2011 sub forum soon .40 major here I come
  5. These are not my guns, these are the extremes of people that shoot the things without any baby-ing. typically rust is on the slide (rust specs) and around the grip area. I have seen more guns rusted than not. this is cosmetic however but this issue does not exist in the chromes. in other words, the extreme rust rather eaisly in my opinion but it is not a concern, just an observation.
  6. Yes all the extreme guns rust badly, must be the alloys they use for the frames and slides. It is kind of parhetic considering the price they aell for in canada.
  7. Can you paint the chrome? Sounds like a terrible idea in my opinion. tanfo makes a good running gun but the cerakoted guns are a joke, they rust like a 2006 mazda 3. never had that issue with the chrome, and I even got it wet, are u sure it is chromed????? i have never seen chrome rusting
  8. I wonder what is PD’s input on this! gow can we tag them in this post.
  9. New loading data published today on vihta’s website.
  10. Yeah I agree - short slide should its corresponding spring. i am still running the #6 no issues whatsoever gun is silky smooth with 147 and - for bragging rights - under 5lbs 100 % reliable trigger
  11. By cutting and pasting that portion of the text you are taking it out of context. I would encourage you to copy and paste the whole thing, as you will confuse people otherwise.
  12. Here is the link from Hennings website, with recommended spring for each PF. Henning knows his s#!t and to me, damaged frames could be a bunch of other things too besides the ammo, lots of bubba gunsmiths out there. http://www.henningshop.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1284664
  13. I agree with John. I doubt a 6 would damage a pistol running IPSC PFactor rounds. I ll be shocked if it does.
  14. Although I agree 100% I am scratching my head thinking what makes my other gun so good! Trigger is not even 6lbs!! And soent half the time making it as nice!
  15. I am wondering if I got a really good tanfo or A really bad one??? is it a 7lb the norm with Medium spring right???
  16. Spring is new - medium spring is under 6lbs in my gun, and same spring over 7 in another. i have 2!! i dont want to shoot the 7lb one ever again!!!!
  17. 13lbs!! Wow that is light! i think my gun is possesed. i can get 5lbs 4oz with pd yellow spring (14lbs) and 5lbs 11oz with Medium Extreme. ?????? I think I have the best tanfo in the world, haha
  18. I am using the shortest one in both my guns and it is perfect. have u tried different ammo? what does the grouping look like at 10 meters?
  19. Yes I discovered this after I got my 2nd tanfo, which is the one I can achieve a 5lbs 4oz DA with yellow PD spring, and to my surprise and to avoid any headaches at today's match I switched over to a Medium Extreme spring and shot the match with practice ammo. 0 malfunctions and the best part: 5LBS 10 OZ on DA with a MEDIUM Spring.... that is absolutely unbelievable for me after toying with a 7 lbs DA trigger for a year. I am having a really hard time getting the trigger of my first TANFO to run like my 2nd. My first tanfo, with a 14 hour trigger job and medium trigger spring, I am at a lousy 7 lbs 8oz DA with Medium spring. It has been polished 3 times over the course of 5 thousand rounds so I can only think that my first tan is one of those that were not as lucky out of the factory. I am actually thinking of selling it and getting another one and see what is the luck of the draw as I have little faith in it, seems like a waste of time but also a waste of money to sell and re-buy to potentially end up in the same boat. I have tried a light spring on this gun and reliability was pretty sad. haha Too bad! but I am happy that my 2nd one is excellent...
  20. Thanks John! I am running a 6lbs on a AUS and it truly makes the gun shine for me. HUGE improvement from the 10 lbs... and I was skeptical of the whole recoil spring thing.
  21. in a pickle here looking for reloading data for CAMPRO 147 and N320, need to reload some for tomorrow and my current load seems off and want to make sure I have the right ammo. CAMPRO 147 and N320 Thanks
