  1. I have yet to chrono my new one, hope it's not too far off...
  2. If I bought a used Stock II, I'd replace the hammer, sear, recoil spring, hammer spring and TRS. Better to start fresh...
  3. Oh I see, the EAA sight doesn't show a separate part number for the base plate, just the entire magazine. Can you glue it back together?
  4. Centerfire Guns just had them listed at $868 with free shipping, but sold out now.
  5. You must manually lower the hammer. Be careful and go slow. Some use the two-finger "pinch" method, some put their thumb under the hammer and roll it forward. It's very easy and nothing to be afraid of, just go slow and be deliberate.
  6. I use Shockbottle base pads from BSPS, but the new Hennings are less expensive and look nice! If you want a plastic one as a replacement just PM me. Link: http://benstoegerproshop.com/gun-parts/eaa-tanfoglio/basepads/
  7. Thicker trigger guard and the old "heart shaped" hammer is replaced with what looks like a heavier version.
  8. I agree with this wise sage. I replaced my Ghost pouches (bullets out) with the Racers. They save a lot of space and are adjustable.
  9. I use the new Dawson .140 front sight which allows the rear sight to be a lot lower with 147's.
  10. They are very compatible. Just put in CGW trs, sear spring and firing pin spring as plunger spring, 13# hammer spring and did the usual polishing. Trigger pull went from 11/5.5 to 7/3.5. Not bad!
  11. I load Xtreme 147 and 165 at 1.15.
  12. Mine should be arriving on Monday from Gunbuyer.com. $249
  13. It came with an EGD trigger? Pics I've seen did not... Bigger mag release too? Edit - one pic on Oakhill has a regular trigger, one has the EGD.
  14. I replaced the CZ pin with the Canik one. In my Stock II it was a nice, snug fit as opposed to the loose fit of the CZ.
  15. Really disagree with this. Yes, the width is the same bullets out or forward, but I've found them to be a solid, affordable choice.
  16. I have bought from Last Round as well, but they've been out of stock on many items for a while...
  17. I've been getting parts from Grauffel in France. With a favorable exchange rate you can save some money, although you will have longer shipping times. Stock sear: http://www.ericgrauffelonlineshop.com/en/frame-parts/46-sear-lever.html Xtreme: http://www.ericgrauffelonlineshop.com/en/frame-parts/348-sear-lever.html
  18. I like it. Send your results as a text or email, nicely formatted.
  19. My stock II's, serial # MT15xxx vs. MT18xxx have a few differences. Newer model has: More aggressive checkering Shorter barrel Different hammer(heavier, not heart-shaped) LPA, fully serrated rear sight (older one only partially serrated, not LPA) No deal-breakers, just some interesting changes. I got the second one for $855 so I'm not complaining.
  20. But it won't fit the box with the Gold ambi-safeties.
  21. My Henning order took a week, and a CGW order (3 day priority) is now at 8 days. Must be the holidays.
